« The staff were great. It was quiet and away from the freeway. We had the unfortunate room right above the “smoking area” and we would get the cigarette smell through our a/c unit. I would suggest moving it. A refurbished building, very well done, but no elevator for anyone who has difficulty with stairs. Continental breakfast was ok. »

« We really enjoyed our stay, the room was very clean and the bed confortable. The only problem was the significant gap under the door that let insects through. We ended up having an earwig in the bath tub and I woke up with one on my arm. Other than that, it was clean and quiet. The staff was very nice. »

« My room was clean, neat, and very not creepy. Tbh I thought I had gotten a reservation for Motel 6 but this place was cool and down to earth. I thought every place had a bad side of town. I thought this was gonna be horrible. Nothing happened. It's Willows California. It has maybe 3000 people in it if that. I met a super cool dude there along with the owners who were super helpful. It's actually a great place to stay on the cheap. All in all 5 stars because of the staff, owners, and renters...

« Okay so. Staff were kind and friendly so I was conflicted when writing this review. I reserved 2 rooms. 1 was fine but the other smelled like mildew. We kept the bathroom fan running and the window ajar but couldn’t escape the odor. Possible the room was closed up after shampooing carpets, not sure. The bathroom did appear to have mildew along the floor at bathtub. I’m sure they would have given us a new room and in reflection, I’m not sure why I didn’t ask. Prob tired from the trip. « Quel séjour inoubliable! Le paysage est magnifique, l’auberge, belle, confortable, accueillante, comme ses hôtes chaleureux et généreux de leur temps, de leurs conseils et de leur écoute. Notre seul regret est de n’y avoir séjourné que trois jours. Aussi, il nous tarde d’y retourner et d’y passer au moins une semaine! »
