« This listing was just as advertised! Absolutely a stunning location, so peaceful and cozy. Thomas was wonderful to communicate with. He was very prompt in responses and understanding! Although we were there for a family funeral and didn’t spend a lot of time at the cabin I would definitely go back. It was very clean, and had plenty of room for our girl to roam after a long car ride. It’s centrally located also! The funeral and extended family were located in Stuart and the Meadows of Dan stores...

« In the renters defense I booked with only 24 hours notice, I should have taken a hint when I didn’t get the email. Once contact was made, the rest went fine. Renter was kind and apologetic about the communication issues. Had more time been given i am sure the home would have been ready. It’s a beautiful private location, just not for the price offered, in my humble opinion. »

"Fabulous! It is so rare to find a spotlessly clean, affordable motel nowadays, let alone a place with a personality, instead of the identical rooms of chain motels. Our room was remodeled with taste: lovely hardwood floors, pretty lamps, an original painting of a mountain, super convenient clothes and towel hangers on beautiful wooden boards, and a real double shower curtain. We enjoyed a very peaceful 3-day family stay: it was wonderful to sit outside on the pretty old-fashioned wrought iron chairs with a book and cup of coffee. The fridge with a separate freezer door was very much appreciated, as well as the microwave and coffee maker. The staff were all super friendly and helpful, and the motel is located just off the Blue ridge parkway: very convenient for access to hikes, bluegrass music events and delicious home cooking. The place to go!"
