The property is a perfect private hideaway with room to move and think. The home housed myself and my five siblings comfortably…very homey with loads of charm and character. I hope this property is available every time I plan to visit the Ararat area! »

« The house is great! Very, very clean. It has everything that you need. The view from the back porch is truly unbelievable. The property is secluded and very quiet, but 15 minutes from Meadows of Dan and Chateau Morrisette Winery and Restaurant. Communication with the host was great! Without a doubt, this is the most peaceful place we have stayed at. »

« I'm not even sure I can think of anything negative to say about this place, especially considering some of the other places we've rented before. They have nearly everything you could need in the kitchen (except cold condiments LOL but that would be weird maybe...) The location is amazing, especially if you're planning to go tubing down the Dan River. It's great for small kids since there's only 1 floor and no stairs inside. (Listing did say there was kids' toys/playground, but didn't find...
