« No hot water »

« We were disappointed in the hot tub and did not use it. The water was cloudy. I didn't bother contacting the host about it because we wouldn't have felt comfortable using it after that. The water inside the cabin smelled, I do realize it was well water. The access to the goats was not good, there was what we thought was another rental behind us and we didn't want to disturb them. Sweet cat and kitten came to visit. The cottage was cute but needed some maintenance. »

« I stayed here for one night and loved how open the property is. It’s conveniently close to Hocking Hills State Park and quite scenic. I wish I had the time to hike on the ridges! »

« Hot tub was hot, smelled like sulfur a bit but not super bothersome. The bedroom was quite dust filled. The bathroom was beautiful, probably the peak of the stay. The private lake part isn't truthful, it may be private for the owners but this particular cabin was not. Was told they couldn't give us the exact place it was because of privacy". very strange. We went and found it about a half a mile away from my cabin and it was like a couple feet from a septet cabin so maybe that cabin needs that...

« The cabin was okay. We had concerns about our stay & they were addressed. A few small things could be added to the cabin that would make the stay more convenient. The property & surrounding area are wonderful & it was nice to enjoy the property with our dogs. »

« Beautiful cabin! Cozy and cute, private. We enjoyed the tv and Nintendo, the fire pit outside, the picnic table on the porch, walking the driveway, and cooking in the little kitchen! We all had a good night sleep, too! Be sure to bring your own water. And fyi- the coffee pot is a mini one, but filters were provided. Home is about 30 minutes from Hocking Hills State Park, but it was worth the drive for the property. We will explore the closer Lake Hope and Zaleski State Forest today before we...
