Surpirse Contract & Extra Charges

contracts I’ve ever read. You’re basically forced to sign it at this point. It even stipulates that if we want to use the grill (one of the property amenities) we need to pay an extra few hundred dollars and make sure photos are taken before and after. This house sits on the beach and when I asked if beach chairs and an umbrella would be at the house they said it would be an additional 55 per day, which would’ve equated to 440 for the length of our stay. When we arrived the prior guests trash was stuffed in a storage container in front of the house and the trash bins were overflowing. We called the company every day and it took 4 days for them to get it all removed. They did end up giving us a 500 refund. The house was in a great location, and overall we enjoyed ourselves. But we were very displeased with the contract they sent 48 hours before check in, the additional costs to use basic amenities of the home (heating the pool is understandable) and the lack of response to a horrendous trash issue.

Better than Expected!

We loved everything about this place. The convenience and proximity to the private beach was unbeatable. The management catered to our every need. I highly recommend you stay here with your family. You won’t regret it.

Great location, terrible service

great location on the beach, overall clean house. But instructions to get into house were all wrong, service was terrible,house was terribly stocked: no dish towels, minimal bath towels for a 4 bedroom house, no beach towels, minimal toilet paper etc., etc. I have never been in a place more poorly stocked that-was that expensive.

Best Beach House!

The room was spacious and fantastic, featuring double beds. My wife and I each took a bed and enjoyed a wonderful night's sleep. It is the best beach house with private pool. Loved the sunset here.

Fantastic place, but poor communication with Management

Firstly, the property and home is true to the pictures, beautiful. The check in process was a nightmare. I asked if I could check in one hour early and they approved. No one said you have to use an obscure side door (even when I called for help and told them I was at the front door). I see this on other reviews too. So, it took over two hours to get in the property and we sat in the sun and in our car, until after 5PM, which was frustrating. Then when I called and chatted, they were not very sincere, did not offer an hour or two later on checkout, no small "let us make it up to you". Once we got in, I believe the cleaning crew wasn't finished, the floors made our feet black, not sand, as I would fully expect, dirt. I had to go buy a mop and clean all the floors. Finally, they asked if there was an "occasion", and we put birthday, might be picky, but could have sent at least, a message. Overall great property and location, in my opinion: property management service needs improvement.

Family Vacation

We just spent our first ever family vacation at this house in Melbourne Beach!! We loved the house…perfect for 6 adults and a toddler. Loved being on the beach and having a small private pool. The house was well maintained and clean. We appreciated the Pack and Play and the High Chair for our grandson. Easy access to grocery store and restaurants and we loved turtle watching at night. However, we did encounter a few glitches… When we arrived we tried several times to access the lock box by the front door, but could never get the code to work. When we called Villatel Team, they kept insisting it was a digital box that would automatically unlock the door, which it was not. After 30 minutes to trying different combinations to see if we could access the key, we found a separate lock box hanging on a hose bib on the side of the house. When we entered the code, we were finally able to then get the key to let us into the house. When we arrived, we noticed there was only 4 sets of towels, one in each bathroom and no dish towels. We again contacted Villatel and received a bag of towels on the second day we were there. Also, be sure to bring your own beach towels, as they are not provided. There were not dinner knives included with the silverware, not a huge deal, but we had to buy plastic knives to be able to makes toast, sandwiches, etc. Would be nice to have an outdoor shower or hose with spray attachment, to reduce the sand in pool/house.

Breath taking views

The location of this property is amazing, to have the beach right in front of you is so incredibly relaxing. The home is beautiful and brand new, the furniture is modern but very comfortable. This is an ideal rental for large families, it feels very spacious inside. The conversion of the one car garage into a movie theater was genius, we really enjoyed watch movies in there. The only reason why I gave this property 5 stars was because there were a few hiccups, seems like the cleaning crew did not finish cleaning the property before we got there, it could have been due to the fact that there was a hurricane on the other coast of Florida 2 days before. Also, there were a few other issues, the remote shades in the master was got stuck half way, the one in the living room never worked, the coffee pot was missing the lid and the pool was not clean. However, I must say the property management team did their best to fix or compensate for all these issues and they were very responsive. I would highly recommend this property and would absolutely stay there again. I think the issues I faced had a lot to do with the fact that it was a brand new property. I am sure in time these kinks will be worked out.

Beach view is love!

It's amazing! I love the location and the view. The house is super clean, beautiful, modern with a lot of amenities for family vacation. It has everything you need to enjoy your stay here and especially enjoy nature around it. We have enjoyed so much: swimming pool overlooking a beautiful beach and sea; outdoor dining table to enjoy food and drinks outside and beautiful sunset views from the room window.

House with elegant and modern look!

I love the design of this holiday home. The house is very simple and elegant with a modern look that matches the sea view that you can enjoy from every room in the house. The house has a nice open floor plan with large windows giving you an amazing ocean view while enjoying your time at home. It's just like having your own private beach right on your doorstep.

Perfect place for family!

I have always wanted to own a vacation home, but I was never able to afford one. When I heard about this location, it sounded like the perfect place for me and my family. The property is clean and well maintained with palm trees, and all kinds of amenities that you would expect from a villa. It also has an amazing view of the beach.

I have been here several times, and I have loved every time. The staff is always friendly and helpful. They are very accommodating when it comes to helping you with the check-in process. It's a great place as the beach is near the villa.
