The overall experience was positive – it was a well-presented property, great location (although the car wash right next door was noisy and had bright lights left on all night), plenty of room (we had 12 guys on a golf trip) and the separate lounge areas were appreciated.Other positive features were complementary coffee pods and bottle of wine, seating on balcony for 12 guests and the provision of linen and bath towels. One of the challenges is that expectations are higher given the somewhat upmarket style of the property. So, here are a few suggestions for improvement:- the games room could be a real feature but lacks finishing touches. The table tennis bats were terrible, pool table and cues were second rate, and the general presentation was lacking;- the iron was faulty and poured water everywhere – needs replacing;- there were a couple of mats near the front door that were frayed and unappealing and didn’t present a good initial impression;- the cooking utensils (mainly pans) were old and need replacement;- the spa was at best lukewarm and discouraged its use (no-one went in!); - instructions on the use of the induction stove would be beneficial (if they were there we couldn't find them!).- we knew there would not be a clothes dryer, but you would normally expect to have on in a facility like this;- the landing approaching the front door, when dark, is a trip/safety hazard. These comments are intended to be constructive feedback - overall, our stay was great
