We take guest privacy and comfort seriously, and it’s unfortunate this review was submitted only after we filed a smoking damage claim, charged a late checkout fee, and reported multiple policy violations. For clarity: ✅ There are no cameras inside the home only exterior security cameras, clearly disclosed and compliant with VRBO’s policies. ✅ The guest who booked the stay was not present, and the individuals who occupied the property were unverified. This violates VRBO’s terms of service and safety protocols. ✅ Communication was limited to guest verification, noise management, and temperature support. ✅ After checkout, we discovered extensive smoking damage, furniture burns, and evidence of severe misuse of the space including an incident involving law enforcement intervention and property misuse, which is now part of a formal report. We maintain strict safety and documentation procedures to protect all guests and our home. This review appears retaliatory and does not reflect the actual conduct or outcome of the stay.
