Property fine, host/management not
First, the property: was as listed and was clean, spacious and comfortable.Unfortunately, interaction with property management was very poor. The host (Hosteeva) listed on VRBO forwarded us check-in instructions from another company (Synergy). The provided parking instructions were unclear, so we contacted Synergy directly and they told us where we had parked was fine. The next day, I went outside to find that my car had been towed. Had to find the car and pay the substantial impound fee as Synergy was not open to return my calls.I emailed with Synergy for over a week requesting reimbursement, and then they stopped returning my messages after I provided recorded proof of our phone conversation. Hosteeva said they couldn't help me, and that I should continue to work directly with Synergy. VRBO customer service said their policies don't cover host issues of this sort, and that I should consider direct legal action.Needless to say, this has been a very frustrating experience. So, while the property itself was fine, I wouldn't recommend dealing with this host as they were not responsive to customer service issues.
