Generally, this is a great place to make vacation. Communication to the host was easy and responsive. House is super clean, furniture, in and outside of high quality, size of the house is generous, so is the outside area. Barbecue is available, unfortuntely without proper light support after sunset. The light is one of the few critic points, next to the bed sizes. Every light in the house, beside the kitchen area, is kind of "in-direct", which is a little disturbing. Dinner table (beautiful decorated), no direct central light over the table. Bed room light switch, it is there, but no central light, so one always has to find the way to the bed to turn on the light on the bed stand. Bed size master bad was our main critic point. We are an older couple, so a small queen bed is not very convienient for us, same in the second bed room, this would be our reason, and actually the only reason, for not coming back. For this price, I just expect to have a king size bed, at least in the master bed room. Outside pool is not heated, which no one would expect, BUT, when you travle during winter time, a nice thing to have, we could not use the pool, which was one of the reasons to rent the house. Our grandson lives close, and we wanted to have fun with him in the pool, which wasn't possible. In all fairness to say, there were the coldest 3 first days we had in Florida since decades, so no chance for the water to heat up again. Here to say, nothing one can expect, but would be lovely to have for the (high) price you pay. Over all, great location, wonderful house, super friendly and communicative host, but would not rent it again, at least not in the winter time.
