« We had a fantastic stay at the butchers arms. They were very friendly and helpful. We had a problem with another hotel and Andrew and his team couldn’t do enough for us. What a lovely place to stay. Very clean place. Bed was super comfy had a fantastic nights sleep. We will definitely stay again if in the area. Thank you Andrew and all the team for looking after us. 😊😊 »

« Excellent property and lovely stay. Would absolutely recommend to anyone. Hot tub was immaculate and we were even lucky enough to have some nice weather too! »

« A lovely old-fashioned hotel in a stunning setting. Comfortable, clean, cozy. On arrival we were surprised to find nobody there even though we'd waited for reception opening time. Our keys were in a plastic bag pinned to a cork board. Explanations were confusing. Breakfast was an epic adventure. The gas stove had broken down and a tremendous effort was made by staff to provide us with a very good Welsh breakfast that was well worth waiting nearly an hour for. The lady who waited on us was very...

« It had everything we needed for a one nights stay. The only thing we couldn’t find was the switch for the heating as we did need to take the chill off now it’s getting cooler. Despite the fire alarm going off and no one knowing what to do at 5am we had a pleasant stay »

« Really lovely stay for 3 nights. Gorgeous room and bathroom, great friendly staff and good food. Very good value. Train station right across the road. Would definitely stay again. »

« We had a lovely overnight night stay at the Wallace. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Our room was clean and tidy with tea, coffee and Welsh cakes. The pub was inviting with roaring log burner which gave extra coziness. The evening meal was delicious😋 The best local sourced fillet steak which was cooked to perfection. Full English breakfast was also very good. I would definitely stay again »
