Yes it’s a hike up stairs to get to the house but you are in Europe. All the good views have tons of stairs. We had 4 of us and had enough room. There was no air conditioning but the villa stayed relatively cool throughout our stay in July (although perhaps a fan would have been good!). Vernazza is a lovely base for exploring the cinque terre. The villa is around a 10 minute walk into the town up a moderate hill, but worth it for the peaceful surroundings and views. « The railway station is directly below the apartment. This wasn't noted or listed and wasn't shown in the photo's. I was really disappointed that this wasn't made clear. The space also looks more new and fresh in the photos than it really is. The space is functional and generally clean, but things were old, dated and partially broken.
