Booking the unit was easy, however communication with the property manager was not timely. I had several questions prior to our arrival which were not answered. I did not receive final instructions on how to access the unit until I was boarding my flight to Miami. I like to be prepared so this caused me some stress.Check-in is 4p and they mean that, not 1 minute less. We arrived at 3:45p and had to wait in the lobby until the clock struck 4p although the unit was ready. The unit was bright, cozy and clean as described, however, it was somewhat worn down. The first thing we noticed was the smoke detector was beeping. I went down to the front desk to see if they could help but they could not. I was told I needed to get with the owner. We were not going to spend our time listening to the annoying beeping so I went to the corner store and purchased batteries for 14.97. Only a pack of 2 was available so I left the spare in the unit. I messaged the owner but still have not received a response of a thank you, or here is your money back...Nothing! The walls had likely been scuffed and you could clearly see where flat white paint had been painted over to cover them. The tubs enamel was worn off from scrubbing so it appeared dirty which stressed my mom out. The shower curtain did need to be washed or changed. The towel bar in one of the bathrooms was barely hanging on with some adhesive; when my sister touched it, it fell down. All in all, a cute unit with poor customer service
