I don't think there could be a better hotel-style room at the Fountainbleau. It's right on top of the beach, with an unobstructed, 180-degree view. The room itself is spacious and clean, and the decor is sophisticated. As described, it's just a suite-style hotel room and not a full condo with a kitchen, but in addition to the minibar, it has a standard mini fridge and a bar sink, which were nice conveniences. I was attending a conference, and I was concerned that booking a room in the Sorrento tower would put me a long distance from the meeting rooms that were on the complete opposite side of the property, but it was a much shorter walk than I expected based on looking at the resort map--definitely under 10 minutes, and probably closer to 5. Plus, half the people I knew who had booked through the hotel ended up getting put in rooms in the towers on this side of the property anyway. The location relative to the main pool area is very convenient. The hotel was crowded so check-in was a bit challenging, but that was no fault of the owner. The desk staff were just overwhelmed. I would definitely recommend checking in at the Tesor check-in desk rather than the main hotel check-in.I never did really understand what the "spa passes" entitled me to (was it just free admission, or a free service?), but unfortunately, I didn't have time to visit the spa anyway.Owner communication and instructions were good. Overall, 5 out of 5 stars, and I would definitely stay there again.
