I love the pool area and beach access. However, the staff was non-accommodating. The guy who took orders on the beach skipped over my husband I a million times never taking our order. He clearly catered to the younger women whom he thought he could fraternize with. Also, the front desk was rude and pushy about granting 30 more for a slightly later checkout (we woke up late). The management actually entered the room as we were dressing.

Staff was lovely and quick to serve at check in and check out. The hotel beds were clean with high quality sheets and pillows. Small boutique hotel so you can quickly get to the lobby and pool. the only thing i had an issue with-is that the hotel is approx 1.5 km to a walgreen or any type of gas station or convenience stores or restaurants and so food in the hotel is very expensive (specifically the coffee shop, where a lackluster cappuccino is $7 and all salads are above $20. Overall fantastic hotel, beautiful stretch of beach away from the messy south beach mayhem. Walking distance into south beach is approx 30 mins

Very spacious and clean room with great views. Loved the pool on the 7th floor. The water is so warm and the views are stunning. Beautiful design throughout the hotel. The coffee place in the lobby has excellent food and drinks to take to the beach.

We didn’t get towels for the room. Water was off during night until 6:30 am. The beach chairs and towels were close at 6:00 pm. It was hot enough to go in the beach.

On another note, we are grateful for the time you had taken to make us aware of shortcomings, which require our team's attention in some hotel areas. Please rest assured those will be brought up and followed up on as needed. In the end, we are happy to note that we are continuously working to update, deep clean and overall maintain and raise the quality of our hotel grounds. Additionally, we hope you would be glad to learn that we are in the process of completing a more expansive guest room renovation, which will definitely address any shortcomings in this area. In the end, we do wish to also note that we do offer both Bay Front and Oceanfront suites, which do provide fully unobstructed views of Biscayne Bay or the Atlantic Ocean and beach respectively. Room was dirty, half things did work, lights out. Tv out, safe locked us out, had to ask for wash clothes every day ,room key issues ever day, at adult pool bar not open. Furniture in lobby all stained, very disappointing for the $$ more like 2.5/ 3 star not 4 by any means!

The grounds of the Grand Beach Hotel was head and shoulders above the surrounding hotels and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. The rooms are a bit worn but the beach, pools and service made up for that.

Our room was not clean nor ready. They also charged the credit card for things that we never consumed. It is impossible to talk to them on the phone. Very disappointed.

Large, bright & spotless rooms with two bathrooms, friendly and gracious staff, lovely pool area, and the food is delicious! We highly recommend the gazpacho. This hotel has everything you need right on the property. We love the Grand Beach, this is our second time and we'll be back!
