We enjoyed our stay. The sleeping arrangements were great, a lot of beds and the mattresses were comfortable. Communication with Eddie was easy and he was quick to respond. I would stay again.

The property was exactly what we were shown online. We loved the closeness to the various beaches and the great restaurant recommendations. Our family had plenty of space to spread out and enjoy the different spaces the property had to offer. Also, having the ability to use the washer and dryer was a complete game changer and made our stay even better. Grateful for the space to enjoy our family vacation.

Team Retreat

We enjoyed our time with 10 teen runners for a short running retreat. We would recommend more bath towels, mirrors, and paper towels. High school girls use those things a lot. :) Appreciated the beach towels. Otherwise house was great.

Great location for the friends and family hanging out on the beach. Great price. The house is secure and very accommodating. It's a cute old house with some modern updates. It could use a few small repairs, but nothing that will put the trip at an inconvenience. You can tell the area is starting to turn back into a fun little lakeside town. I would do this again.

House description was not accurate.

The booking process was easy and Eddi answered questions promptly. I messaged him a few times with questions to clarify the sleeping arrangements since we would have a group staying together. When we arrived, there were 8 beds instead of 12. I called Eddi and he was very condescending and rude. He questioned what I expected him to do about it and said it was a miscommunication. Considering I had asked specific questions, I consider it misleading instead. As we were discussing, he told me his battery was dying on his phone and hung up. There were other issues such as cleanliness (leftover coffee still in coffee pot, stained furniture, etc.) but I would not have brought those issues up on their own. We may have even booked the house knowing there were only 8 beds but we would have planned differently. It was Eddi's flippant response that was most frustrating.

Worked out great!

I wasn’t sure if it would be big enough for the 12 of us, but it was actually a great fit. It was perfect for our group to spend the weekend. Also, the owners respond very quickly and are very helpful.

The neighbor was rude and complained that people were walking on her grass. There has to be a right of way easement for people to walk on sidewalk so they are not in the street. Snow covered the area so there was no way of knowing so we just followed the prints in the snow. Complained cause we had a pony keg on the porch. There was no rules on that so why was I told after she complained that not to do it again. Very cold the first night in the house. Themostat dropped to 59 in the middle of the night. Temps outside was in the single digits so it got very cold in the house. Overall not impressed with the property so will not be staying there again.

Great place for getting together

Met up mid- way for our yearly gathering. Home was great for us to hang out and spend time. Cold weather was a bit of a struggle, as the home is older (which is understandable), but nothing that caused any issues. Plenty of room all of us, great location.

Relaxing

My stay was relaxing the bed were very comfortable, Wasn’t please with the entertainment room being in the garage no heater for the winter however for the summer it would be nice. Over all the place was roomy it had all utilities for a kitchen. Plenty of extra blankets. It was a lot of blue tape on the walls where repairs were being done but it didn’t interfere with our stay. The hospitality was outstanding Mr.Eddi communicated every step of the way. I had no bad experiences my stay was just fine. Neighbors had no issues with my guests. I would come back there again. that was needed in the kitchen Extra blanket.

Lots of potential...

House was very clean and easy to move into for the weekend. Game room in the garage was a bit disappointing...darts not in working order, air hockey had no air. So we stayed inside most of the time. Great little yard though! Felt private even in tight neighborhood.

Michigan City

This house has been very nicely rehabbed. It is well equipped, very clean and the beds were comfy. May not be in the best neighborhood, but none of the neighborhoods in Michigan City we saw looked that great. The city looks run-down but they're trying to revive some areas. We were there off-season (Oct) so it's probably better in the summer. Eddi was a ve reresponsive host.

Great house near Lake Michigan

We enjoyed this lovely property as did our 2 dogs. Check in was easy. The layout was terrific. The bed was comfortable. Highly recommend! Host was very communicative! Close to Lake Michigan which is beautiful!

Ideal Stay

Home was very clean with plenty of beds for guests. Has everything you could possibly need, including stocks of coffee, oatmeal, spices... Great yard with a fire pit and chairs, outdoor table for dining. Excellent area if you're looking to go shopping, or a day trip to Michigan's many activities. We greatly enjoyed our stay.
