« We had a wonderful trip to this cabin with a group of 6 adults and 6 children. Overall, it’s a beautiful home with incredible views! We were a bit surprised to learn that the bunk bed room was detached from the main house. With 6 kids, we had planned to put them in those beds but with the room being detached from the main house, it wasn’t realistic for our younger children to sleep over there so far from us. « This was perfect for our large family gathering. Each couple/family was able to have their own space and the group with the younger kids thought the bunk room above the garage worked perfectly. There are enough unique features/decorations in the home we were even able to have a scavenger hunt one evening which was a blast. It was March so we didn't get to enjoy the beautiful pool or lake too much but one teenager did get out on a paddle board. There are a few things that have been "fixed"...

« Great area. The River house was perfect for the 4 of us. Very convenient to downtown, the stores and Ellijay area. The River House has several sitting areas outside which was very nice except it rained the whole time, so utilized the porch furniture a lot. Definitely would rent this place again. Our favorite wineries are The Roo & Buckley’s. »

« Pros - The communication with the property management company was great. They notified us of ahead of time concerning directions, check in procedures and local area information.Cons - The house was not furnished appropriately for the size of the house. There was no indoor dining room table and only 4 bar chairs around the island. None of the bedrooms had window dressings. The lack of curtains or blinds left no privacy for 5 of the bedrooms with a house just next door on that side of the house....
