„I enjoyed staying here but the Expedia listing says it's a whole house. Actually it's one house with 4 rooms and the showers are shared and the kitchen is shared. We enjoyed the stay but it wasn't what we expected.“

„No se dejen estafar, las fotos estan arregladas, el lugar es sucio, tienen mas gente en otras habitaciones ,para poder ingresar se necesita un auto alto que el camino es terrible, no se como expedia se presta para estafar a sus cliente. PESIMO LUGAR“

„This one is really hard for me to rate, communication at first was great! Very informative & helpful, however, when I asked for the laundry room key, I was asked if I needed to do laundry, I said yes, I have kids staying with us, we don’t like to travel home with dirty clothes. „Me and my husband really had a wonderful stay in the house, it was close to a lot of attractions including “El Tunco Beach” I personally really enjoyed that and probably rent it again in the future for the same reason, and Joshua (the owner) was in contact answering all questions we had.“

„The property itself is peaceful and beautiful. The pool is great. There was an iguana over the front gate to the property several times; We think he lives there and that was a cool experience. A lot of birds in the trees. There is a little store down the street, maybe just a five minute walk, that we didn't realize was there until our last day there. „The location of this property is gorgeous! We loved watching and hearing the waves crash onto the rock cliffs. The beautiful black volcanic sand beach is right next door and very easy to access. Alma de Mar was a beautiful property that is very well maintained. The staff were always helpful, kind, and available. We booked Chef Tavo for all our meals during our stay and he was amazing!! We highly recommend him.“

"The hotel was really the perfect place for the last days of our 3 week vacation. All we wanted was a nice place to stay and lay at the pool 24/7. The hotel was the perfect choice. Nice interior design, two beautiful pools, direct view at the sea, great drinks and good food. The hotel does not have their own restaurant but still provides some really tasty dishes. Food can also be delivered from another restaurant for a small fee. Within 20 minutes you can also walk down to the next town (el Zonte) with lots of restaurants and a beautiful beach. We would definitely book at El Xalli again. The staff was also super nice and helpful all the time. "
