Magical
This is an absolutely beautiful rental. It is about 20 mins or so from Moab. Our family really enjoyed our time here. The goats were great, the swimming area with hot tub and spa were immersed in nature. The sunsets were magical. The shuffleboard table was a big bonus! Thanks for the memories.

Great spot for all ages
We spent a week here with our two young children and several friends. We enjoyed the shuffle board table and toys for the kids. There was room for all of us with plenty of hang out space. Kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed for cooking. Hot tub was large, clean, and hot! The ranch is a bit of a ways out of Moab (15 min) and has a secluded feel with beautiful surrounds. Would highly recommend!

Home Away from Home!
This property was worth the short drive in the country to arrive at such a serene setting! It was a good base for visiting Arches National Park. The house was very clean, well-equipped, and nicey decorated. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen felt like home. The literature rack with info about the area and things to do was helpful. I enjoyed reading the write-up about the history of Pack Creek Ranch - it inspired me to buy a book by Edward Abbey at the Arches gift shop. Our grandkids loved visiting the goats and playing with the toys in the toy box upstairs. All-in-all, our stay was a deightful experience!

Our family had a wonderful stay. Aside from some trouble turning on the burners on the stove, everything worked well. I had questions that the property manager never responded to despite several emails back and forth so you may have to call them to get a response.

Everything we hoped for!
This property is the perfect place to explore the Moab area. There were 6 of us and we had more than enough room. The goats were the highlight for the kids, and the history of the ranch added to the experience. We will definitely stay here again when we return to the area.

We loved the oasis that you created in this property abd highly recommend it for family recharge.
We loved our experience! Such a recharge! The gusts, deer, antelope and magical views of sunrise, sunset and stargazing made magical memories and reset we all needed while also enjoying the parks nearby. My only critique is that I thought the jacuzzi was private at the house not in the complex. However, we explored a family soak walking across the orchard at night which was a magical stroll under the stars and an adventure encompassing deer upon return to our cabin!

Such a lovely peaceful, isolated property to come home to after hiking all day. 20 minute drive from Moab was no problem at all. Enjoyed playing shuffleboard too. Cooked every night during this Covid period and kitchen had everything we needed. Would recommend this propery

This was a great experience. The house is just as it says in the listing. The only confusing part was finding the house at night. The listing has it as one address although the actual house has a different number on it. Be sure to confirm this. Great house; we would stay again!

Home away from home
Really cool property about 10 miles outside of town. There are approximately 8 homes on this large piece of land, spaced far away from each other with cows and wildlife roaming freely. Sunrises and sunsets were spectacular. The good stuff: The Orchard House was big with 3 bedrooms and a huge upstairs loft with 3 beds, games and a living room area with a tv (only one in the house) but we weren’t there to watch tv. There was a wrap around porch, large grass area to play and swimming g pool/jacuzzi behind one of the other houses. The not so good stuff: If you like soft beds, you’re in luck, if not, you’re like me and woke up with a stiff neck most mornings. Guest bathroom shower/tub combo does not drain well and you end up showering in a foot of water and it’s kind of gross. As others have said, the WiFi, although it exists, Is not good. We ended up using my sons hot spot just to connect for work. Do not count on WiFi. Could use more pans and coffee maker kept clogging. Small things especially since this property is fantastic. Would recommend if you are looking to be close to town but not in the heart of the craziness.

A perfect Moab experience!
My family traveled to Pack Creek from Denver, Portland and San Francisco to reunite and experience all that Moab and the surrounding National Parks offer. The Orchard House was the perfect place for a much needed visit filled with fun!

Our stay was amazing.. overall we love the place. And we are definitely staying back here .
Questions were answered quick when i sent inquiries. Our stay at this cabin was awesome.. we enjoyed it , great place , we fed the goats in the property which was also a fun experience . Overall, we love our stay... definitely will stay in this place again.

Needs work
Broken furniture, lots of dead bugs and cobwebs (REALLY needs a good cleaning), and the wifi is the equivalent of dial up. There is no phone signal and which would not be good in an emergency... location is remote which was quiet and also the reason I assume for little wifi and no phones.

Thank you for your review and the input. The futon has been replaced and all furniture is in good shape. The home has been deep cleaned and looks great. Pack Creek is an amazing place that is close enough to town that you can run for dinner, but far enough away that you get wonderful views and seclusion. That does come with a trade off in phone service and internet speed. And there is more wildlife. It is the perfect spot for many people, but it sounds like a place in town would be ideal for your next stay.

Beautiful Location!
My family of 6 stayed here for a long weekend in late Sept. The location of the house is beautiful! The house itself was very clean and comfortable for our family. We could have slept many more than we did! The kitchen is also well stocked with essentials and pots/pans/dishes. The property could go from good to great with a couple small fixes and upgrades: the screen door in the main living space is broken and a few of the windows are sealed shut which makes the house very warm when not running the AC. The wifi is REALLY slow and basically ruled out using the TV (HDMI compatible, no cable) and really slowed down phones. An e-mail inquiry sent at the time of booking wasn't ever answered by property management.

The perfect retreat!
This place exceeded our expectations. The location is set against the mountains away from the hustle of Moab. It is so quiet. The stargazing was spectacular! The house is comfortable and cozy, seems newly renovated and seems like the largest in the pack creek ranch group and has ample room with a great floor plan. Waking up to the views of red rock were unexpected as we arrived after dark. One of the best VRBOs we’ve been to.

Off the beaten path and so peaceful
Great cabin with most of the modern amenities. No working TV other than DVD. At night on a clear night you can see the Milky Way. I would stay here again. Two complaints I do have is some window screens need repair,we spent part of the night swatting moths and several spiders. The other complaint would be dirty silverware.

Gorgeous property - comfortable and lovely cabin - loved it!!!
We had an amazing week in Moab - we played hard each day, and it was so perfect to come home to Pack Creek Orchard House at the end of the day. It was quiet, beautiful and cool nestled up against the La Sal Mountains. The beds were soft and comfortable, the house was spacious and clean, the hot tub was soothing after long days in the saddle and on foot. The drive to town and activities (which I was concerned would be a problem), was not a negative at all - it was 15 minutes and a beautiful drive. No negative comments to report. Loved it - will definitely stay here again if available.
