„We spend two weeks in Filanthi´s house. The house of Filanthi is located in a little village, almost on the top of the mountain which includes a 20min drive to the next town of Gythio. A wonderful retreat if you love nature and quiet places. Filanthi, her sister (which lives next to the house) and the whole neighbarhood are very nice and kind persons. „This property is really special. It is spacious and beautiful and just has a certain quality about it. That makes you feel like a queen. The owner‘s mom lives down the hill and, although she doesn’t speak a lot of English, she was thorough in welcoming us and Showing us how to use the kitchen, etc. She had a crisper drawer full of fresh oranges and lemons and an electric orange juice maker. „This unit was located within short walking distance from restaurants, the marina, and shops. The actual citadel of Monemvasia was about a 10-15 min walk away. A great balcony overlooking the water and Monemvasia on the second floor was a great place to have a drink and relax.
