„Das Castello ist atemberaubend schön an fantastischer Lage. Leider stimmt das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis bei weitem nicht. Habe andere Erfahrungen und Erwartungen an ein 5-Sterne-Hotel. Wirkt alles sehr behelfsmässig und amateurhaft. Nichts desto trotz würde ich wieder das traumhafte Anwesen besuchen.“

„The hotel is a little bit located outside from the center of the village (no walking access to the center) with a great view & lookout around the beautiful landscape of Toscany. We loved the breakfast buffet with the fresh made tortes & cookies every day & the fresh portions sliced fruits to eat with muesli & yogurt. „Im Haus alles super, Restaurant moderne Küche ( nicht mein Fall ) aber auf hohem Niveau. Frühstück und Abendessen nur im klimatisierten Bereich Innen, keine Terrasse. Sehr schade. Bei schönstem Wetter nur drinnen sitzen eine Katastrophe. Achtung Anfahrt zum Weingut/Hotel nur über eine 3 km lange unbefestigte Schotter Piste möglich. Cabrio fahren unmöglich. 100 m links und rechts der Straße sieht alles grau in grau aus. Deshalb würde ich das nicht mehr buchen. An der Rezeption alle sehr nett, ...

„A fantastic lovely place to stay close by Montalcino. Tranquil, stunning view and very cozy atmosphere and rooms. Capanna wines are wonderful and the only downside was that the fine dining restaurant which we visited before and looked forward to enjoying again was closed the two days we spent there. However Montalcino is a beautiful little place with many good restaurants and cozy atmosphere so there’s always other options. Will definitely come back!“
