Superbe maison en Toscane
La maison est très confortable, il y a le minimum d’équipement dans la cuisine mais cela suffit. La piscine et le jardin sont parfaits. Point négatif: un chenil de chiens à proximité du village, qui sont très bruyants, surtout en soirée…

A WONDERFUL VILLA IN A WONDEFFUL PLACE
We spent 2 weeks in the villa in August 2016. The Villa is wonderfull, with everything available, you just have to enjoy fantastics holidays. Silvia and Carlo are doing all their best to make all easier and perfect. You can find all the things you want, nothing is missing. At the middle of our week, clean bed linen and towels were changed, and the swimming pool is cleaned twice a week by Carlo, with always a smile for us. The situation is perfect to visit Toscana, and the villa is so quiet that you think that you are alone in the world. We will keep an unforgettable and magic feeling of this Villa, with Silvia and Carlo, and of course BiBi who was part of our hollidays :-) Elena was so sad to leave the place and the swimming pool. A perfect week
Our stay was perfect: wonderful house, wonderful garden and pool! A good place to be for a longer time. There are lot of possibilities for excursions like bike tours, visiting interesting cities etc. and good restaurants in the surrounding area. Above all many thanks to our very nice and helpful host Carlo and his wife!!

wunderschönes Haus
wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in Monteriggioni. Ein sehr schönes, sauberes Haus mit jeder Menge Platz drumherum. Unser Vermieter Carlo war sehr nett und hilfsbereit, auch bei kleinen Problemen mit meinem Mountainbike. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen!

Hallo Carlo, wir waren vom 22.09.-05.10.23 bei dir in dem wunderschönen Haus. Wir haben uns zu 100% wohl gefühlt. Du hast auch alles dafür getan, dass der Urlaub perfekt war. Dein Haus, der Pool und deine Hilfe, egal wann und wo, Danke für alles. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Es hat einfach alles gepasst. Viele Grüße auch von unserem Hund Einstein.

Very recommended to stay
We would like to thank Carlo for great hospitality and chance to stay in beautiful place in perfect house. House is situated in very calm place in walking distance from Via Francigena and from very old monastery. Nice little medieval town Monteriggioni is only 10 minutes driving, Siena is only 0.5 hour driving. Access to highway is very easy and simple. House is very pleasant to look at and household is very well organized. All facilities function very well. Thank you very much, Carlo, for excellent week!

The Suite is a lovely house, beautifully decorated and furnished and thoughfully equipped. The grounds and pool are gorgeous and perfect for just spending time, relaxing and enjoying the scenery. There are so many interesting places within a 30 minute drive and we'd certainly recommend walking to Monteriggioni along the Via Francigena.

Beautiful comfortable villa
We were very sad to leave this beautiful place in a most beautiful spot in this world. Carlo was so helpful when we had a serious transportation problem. Do not visit here without a car as we did! It is a short 3 mile or so drive into Monteriggione where both train and bus service are abundantly available, but getting there and back was problematic and renting a car on the spur of the moment very expensive so be prepared for that complication and book ahead if you do not have your own car. We used the train service from 3 mile away Monteriggione to access Florence, Pisa, anywhere you want to go for an easy and very inexpensive ride. Other than transportation , our stay was wonderful.. with an ancient village..established late 10th and early 11th century..directltly across the road..the Montereggioni castle easily accessible and a great place to visit, shop and eat..the arms museum there was great and hands on and our grandchildren loved it! Also wine tasting at a vinyard we easily walked to was a delightful afternoon in a beautiful setting. We cant wait to go back. Our grandchildren loved the large yard complete with pigeon cages and their pretty cooing sounds to wake up to each morning. . Thank you so much for your kindness in getting us back to deliver the rental car, Carlo. We will always remember your generosity!

Schöne Ferien mit Hund
Wir haben als Paar 2 Wochen in der Villa verbracht mit unserem Bernersennenhund und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die FeWo hat alles was man braucht, gemütlich, sehr sauber, gut ausgestattet. Die Lage ist auch toll. Direkt bei Monteriggioni, Colle di Val d'Elsa, natürlich Siena, San Gimignano, Volterra, Poggibonsi, Castellina in Chianti. Alles super schöne Orte, und die Leute sind alle ganz hundefreundlich. Sehr nette Vermieter, unkompliziert und hilfsbereit, Grazie Carlo e Silvia, ci rivediamo

Ruhige Lage
Das Ferienhaus liegt ruhig mitten in den Feldern bei dem kleinen Ort Badia a Isola in der Nähe von Siena . Alle sehenswerte Orte sind in kurzer Zeit mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Das Haus liegt auf einem sehr großen Grundstück mit verschiedenen Sitz und Liegemöglichkeiten und verfügt zudem über einen großen Pool. Das Haus ist zweckmäßig ausgestattet. Empfehlung für diejenigen, die Ruhe suchen, jedoch auch gerne Erkundungstouren mit dem Auto oder mit dem Fahrrad unternehmen wollen. ( die Via Francigena verläuft quasi vor der Hautür)

Perfektes Haus für einen Aufenthalt in der Toskana - mittendrin, sehr ruhig und trotzdem gleich neben der Florenz-Siena Schnellstraße. Wunderschöne Aussicht auf Monteriggioni von der Terrasse. Großer eigener Pool, den der supernette Eigentümer Carlo sogar während unseres Aufenthaltes als wir weg waren putzte. Für 4 Personen ideal. Einziges kleines Problem ist dass keine AC vorhanden ist. Als wir Ende Mai da waren kein Problem, könnte aber im Hochsommer warm werden….

Traumurlaub mit Blick auf das Castello
Wir haben als Familie mit Hunden eine traumhafte Zeit in der Toskana direkt an der Via Francigena verlebt. Das Grundstück ist groß, klug angelegt und sehr gepflegt - insgesamt eine Augenweide. Der Besitzer hat uns nach einer fürchterlichen Staufahrt nach Italien und nachfolgendem Navi-Versagen in Kombination mit einer gesperrten Straße in der Dunkelheit an einem Treffpunkt abgeholt und zum Anwesen gelotst - unglaublich nett und zugewandt...vielen Dank, Carlo!!! Wir würden jederzeit wieder die gleiche Wahl treffen. Die Aufteilung des Hauses ist zunächst gewöhnungsbedürftig (den alten Grundmauern geschuldet), aber sehr gut auf moderne Bedürfnisse umgemünzt. Der Außenbereich ist ein Traum und wir haben trotz der frühen Jahreszeit viel Zeit auf der Terrasse und im Garten verbracht. Leider war der sehr schön angelegte Pool noch nicht geöffnet - das wussten wir aber und ist gut im Vorfeld kommuniziert worden. Absolute Empfehlung - Gastgeber und Anwesen haben eine glatte "Eins" verdient. Dankeschön - auch für die nette Kommunikation telefonisch, per Mail, WA oder persönlich! Wir kommen gerne wieder. Herzliche Grüße an die Familie Lombardini und auf bald!

Great vacation home
We had a wonderful week and really enjoyed the stay and the hospitality of Carlo and Sylvia. The house is perfectly located, and very cozy and homely furnished. The garden is huge and carefully maintained. The view from the terrace and also from the windows on the city walls of Monteriggione is magnificent!

Villa à la campagne
Jolie petite villa dans un cadre agréable et très calme, vignes et champs de blé, La situation est idéale pour découvrir ou revoir les plus belles villes de Toscane. Belle terrasse et belle piscine bien entretenue.

Comfortable, well located for Siena, Florence and surrounds
Well located, basically comfortable. Could do with more comfortable seating indoors and nicer bedlinen, towels and pillows. Pool and outdoor areas are great.

Perfect property in the perfect place to visit Tuscany
We had an amazing 2 week stay in Monteriggioni Suite and would definitely recommend this as a base for a Tuscan holiday. Carlo and Silvia had prepared the villa really well for our arrival. It was really clean and arrival was very well organised. Emails are responded to very promptly and I felt really confident about this holiday pre-arrival. As we were staying for 2 weeks we were provided with clean bed linen and towels half way through the holiday. The situation is outstanding. Views of Monteriggioni (floodlit at night) from the terrace are a highlight and we spent many evenings drinking the odd glass of Chianti and eating dinner whilst enjoying the peace, the heat and the view! We had 2 young children with us and the situation of this property meant that all the "sights" were within east travelling distance. During our stay the Medieval Festival was on in Monteriggioni which was definitely worth a visit and we just missed the Firework display on the last evening which will be an amazing sight from the villa . Monteriggioni Suite is also situated on the Via Francigena so we could walk along the Pilgrim route 2 miles into Monteriggioni. The local village, Abbadia Isola has a terrific restaurant and a great pub, so we were able to walk there in the evenings. The Villa is well equipped and we had everything we needed for a fantastic holiday (the only thing we might have appreciated is a folder of suggested local activities, supermarkets etc?). The pool was a great asset for the children and they didn't want to leave Bebe the cat behind! Many thanks again to Carlo and Silvia for an unforgettable holiday.
