« Located in the downtown area of a small town in western MN, Canby Inn & Suites is a gem. We stayed here for 3 nights as our home base during a birding weekend. Every staff member greeted us warmly and offered to do whatever they could to make our stay comfortable. When we advised that we would be heading out at 5:30 am one of the mornings of our stay, they had freshly brewed coffee ready for us to take along. « It was ok until we found our room was infested with grease ants all over TV stand and in the carpet the next morning. Cookie from the front desk when we checked in at 10 pm the night before had at least 20 ants crawling on it in the morning. Otherwise it was a nice place. »

« During our stay, we encountered several issues that I want to bring to your attention. The first room had black hair and stains on the sheets, stained pillows, and a shower/tub drain that was completely plugged. The carpet had not been vacuumed, and the bath towels provided were very small.
The breakfast was also disappointing. The waffle batter ran out and there was no staff available to notify. The overall selection was mostly carbohydrates with no protein options, and the coffee tasted...
