« Loved the lake view and the kayaks that were made available. We spent our evening at the fire pit, again enjoying the view. Water on the lake is crystal clear!! A well stocked kitchen! Only suggestion is to make an empty cabinet available for patrons home kitchen dry food items, we left most of our items in a box. The lodging was very homey and comfortable, pet friendly & very close to the Macanak ferry boat landing. Very clean and comfortable beds. We truly enjoyed our time there <3 »

« What a nightmare to find. The idea that we had to go to Days Inn was strange. They drew a map for us to find the place. Gave us the wrong info that lead us to a dead end. Then we finally found it after talking to several people. House was not secure. The back door would not close. Smelled like mold in all the rooms. The furniture was replaced with outdated Days Inn furniture. Not the same decor or furniture in the pictures. We were deceived. Eerie feeling being in that home. »

« The cottage was very comfortable. The Harbor Light Grill was convenient with good food. We all enjoyed the kayaks. Carp Lake is very peaceful. »

« Very comfortable, clean and spacious cabin with all the amenities to make a memorable home base for our family while exploring the UP. We loved the Railhouse and it's great lakes woods of Michigan vibe. We definitely recommend it. »
