Sitting between Palm Springs and Joshua Tree, it suits friends and families who want to explore both.

-Outdoor Amenities-

The fully fenced 2.5 acres are surrounded by uninterrupted mountain views. The private in-ground pool is about 4 feet deep and can be heated in cooler months, with the built-in hot tub right beside it and sun loungers along the edge. A private sauna, an outdoor bathtub, an outdoor shower and a raised yoga deck add a wellness side to the stay. As the sun drops behind the ridgelines, gather around the propane fire pit or grill on the propane BBQ.



-Living Area-

The living area mixes modern desert style with comfortable furniture and pops of color, an easy place to gather after a day in Palm Springs or Joshua Tree. Three smart TVs offer streaming apps such as Netflix and Hulu with your own accounts. In the detached guest suite, a game room with a pool table gives the group a second hangout.



-Kitchen and Dining-

The full kitchen has Café appliances, including a refrigerator, oven, stove and microwave, along with cookware, dishes and utensils for everything from a quick breakfast to a group dinner. Grill outside on the propane BBQ with the mountains as your backdrop.

Hotel California sleeps up to 10 guests across five bedrooms and seven beds. Bedrooms 1 and 2 each have a king bed, Bedroom 3 has a queen bed and Bedroom 4 has two queen beds. Bedroom 5 is in the detached guest suite, with two queen beds in the loft, a private bathroom and a separate entrance. There are four bathrooms in total.

Hotel California sits in the mountains above Morongo Valley, between two of Southern California's best-known desert destinations. Head down the Morongo Grade to Palm Springs, about 30 minutes away, for restaurants, galleries and mid-century architecture, or up into the high desert for Old Town Yucca Valley (about 10 minutes), Pappy and Harriet's in Pioneertown (about 17 minutes) and downtown Joshua Tree (about 19 minutes). Spaghetti Western, an Italian restaurant in an old Western building, is about 6 minutes away.

Getting Around:

A personal vehicle is necessary to get around in this area - rideshare apps are not guaranteed.



Hotel California is in a remote mountain location, and the road to the home includes unpaved sections. Low-clearance vehicles are not recommended. Please drive slowly, as conditions may include bumps and ruts, particularly after rain or high wind.



The road just outside the property gates is a private easement belonging to the neighboring property. You may drive across it to enter and exit, but please do not walk, gather or park on it. The gated driveway fits up to 10 vehicles, and all vehicles must be parked inside the property gates.
