6-Zimmer Chalet - Traumhafte Sauna - Morzine-Avoriaz

A perfect blend of alpine charm with modern facilities, spacious rooms yet with a cosy feel, and an ideal location for exploring the vast Portes du Soleil. A firm favourite with visitors for over 15 years and, after a brief hiatus in 2024/25 for renovation, Chalet Chery is back! This coming winter it will be offered for up to 17 people on a self-catered basis or with the flexibility of meal deliveries to suit you!

Space is a big feature of this chalet, both inside with its open plan design and family sized bedrooms, and outside as it sits in its own grounds next to the river in the former slate mining hamlet of Les Meuniers with far-reaching views. With easy access to the skiing on both sides of the valley (Avoriaz and Morzine), tranquil surroundings and at a walkable distance from the old town this chalet is perfect for everyone from beginners to powder hounds and from lovers of peace and quiet to party animals!

The suntrap terrace overlooking the river is the perfect spot for others to enjoy a cold beer from our honesty bar whilst taking in the spectacular views of some of the highest peaks of the Chablais region. A recently added sauna is ideal for soothing those aching limbs! As the exertions of the day catch up with you, the soothing effect of the magnificent fire will do nothing to fend off the temptation to have a nap!

All six bedrooms boast traditional Savoyard decor to give a perfect blend of homeliness and cosiness. Four of them benefit from ensuite facilities (either in the form of a traditional bathroom or a cabin-style wet room with showers) whilst the two remaining rooms have access to a shower and 2 WCs.

There is a cafe and a gym within a 5 minute walk and the old town is a 15 minute stroll. The cable cars on either side of the valley, the town centre and ski school meeting points are all 5 minutes away by free ski bus. This runs every 7 minutes at peak times.

House Rules:
- All bookings, irrespective of which platform they were placed through, will be required to provide a security deposit of €500 in the form of a card pre-authorisation prior to check in.
- Check-in time is 4pm and check-out is 10am.
- Smoking is not allowed.
- Ski boots are not permitted above the ground floor level. Please bring house shoes or slippers.
- There are free parking spaces at the property.
- Pets are not allowed at the property.
