« This was conveniently located 15 minutes from Bar Harbor on the south side of Acadia National Park. The property is an upstairs apartment and is very clean with ample amenities. The best grocery store options are in Ellsworth, so load up there prior to entering Mount Desert island. « Loved the apartment! Location is great, walk everywhere. The included breakfast was very nice and loved just walking downstairs to one of the best in town. Things to note-central/convenience has a price-Main bedroom is on the Cottage St side with lots of action including bars with live bands. Suggest earplugs or use your phone for brown noise if you go to bed before midnight. The breakfast place is not open at night(nice) but opens at 6 am. « The rental was outstanding. Clean, conveniently located, close to downtown Southwest Harbor restaurants and stores, but just a couple blocks down the street so it was nice and quiet. « Our host Dave was very responsive and it was a great place to stay! Location was great as it was away from Bar Harbor to miss out on all the traffic but not to far. The accommodation was exactly as stated and perfect for a couple. Very clean, quite and comfortable. I would recommend and stay again if I have the chance to visit Maine’s coast again. »

« We found the Hummingbird Suites to be just what we needed for our visit to the Bar Harbor area. It was a very convenient distance from downtown Bar Harbor (less than 10 minutes) and general Acadia park access. We also took a trip an hour away to Castine to do a bioluminescent kayaking tour. The suite was clean and comfortable to come back to for relaxing, especially after we did a 27-mile bike trip one day, which we mapped out on the huge map in the suite. « The cabin was well stocked and worked perfectly for my group of friends. We even used the grill on the property on the first night and were able to cook a lovely dinner & picnic outside. The staff was lovely and offered great recommendations for hikes and restaurants. Overall I would book again! Thanks for a wonderful stay! »

« No contact from property manager or owner for requests , sheets had pubic hair from previous booking , I asked for new bedding and said I would change it myself, things happen I get it, dirt on the floor sticking to socks and feet, paper thin walls, unusable balcony, we left after only one night without communication from anyone to find a cheaper, bigger, much cleaner place, with much more privacy, »

« What a wonderful little gem! The space is petite but incredibly well designed, with all the comforts you might need, including a surprisingly good little washer/dryer. The studio was immaculate with every inch used thoughtfully a from a functional perspective, but also an eye for beauty. There were large windows around half the cabin that let lots of air and light in and made it feel like “glamping” in the trees because of its location on the larger property.
