"The accommodation is located in a very quiet area; the street leading to it is a dead end, and the only people who drive by are the neighbors at the end of the street, 2–3 times a day at most. Although the property doesn’t have a fence or hedge along the street, this isn’t a problem since virtually no one walks by there. Occasionally, however, a deer will run across the property. By the way, when the moon isn't out, you can see the starry sky very clearly at night because there's no light pollution. There’s a small pool, and you have direct access to it from the terrace (there’s no fence around it, as is often the case in France). A tree by the pool provides shade, and you can sit underneath it. Otherwise, there isn’t much shade. The property slopes gently toward the south, offering a good view of the opposite hillside, where a few houses can be seen (400 m as the crow flies). You can spend time both in front of the house and behind it, depending on the sunshine (that is, on the patio in the morning and late afternoon, and in front of the house for dinner). The furniture is made of weather-resistant plastic. The patio is partially covered, protecting the table and chairs there from possible rain. The house has lovely thick walls and old roof beams, which give it a lovely character. And even though it’s about 35 degrees outside, it’s still quite comfortable in there without air conditioning – though you do need to keep the wooden shutters closed to stop the sun coming in. The bedroom on the ground floor also has direct access to the terrace, and it is a good size. The bed is very comfortable and we slept very well in it at night. The children’s bedroom on the upper floor of the tower (it is a pigeonnier, or dovecote) is a little small and also warmer than the other bedroom; it doesn’t get ventilated very well. The kitchen is equipped with everything you could possibly need, and there is plenty of crockery in a variety of styles. The bathroom has a washbasin and a shower and is a good size. Only the toilet is a bit on the small side. Next to the bathroom is a small room housing a washing machine and the heating system (heat pump). There is another shed (facing the street) where the landlord keeps tools and so on. We parked the bikes we’d brought with us there. Adjacent to it, the landlord has laid out a small garden; he sometimes pops round to water the plants. However, the remote location is also a drawback. You do have to drive quite a long way eve"

"Das Haus liegt wunderschön mit tollem Blick über die Landschaft und sehr ruhig. Der Ort hat etwa 300 Einwohner, dafür aber einen sehr tollen Bäcker! Im Haus selbst sind viele Dinge ausreichend und in gutem Zustand vorhanden. Einzig am Besteck und Weingläser könnte man nachrüsten. Die Besitzer kümmern sich um alles, wenn irgendwas fehlen sollte - sehr aufmerksam und sehr unaufdringlich Wir halten das Haus mit max 6 Personen für vernünftig belegt - bei 10 wird es mit zwei Toiletten, einer Dusche und einer Duschbadewanne vielleicht etwas „sportlich“ Das Grundstück ist komplett eingezäunt und für Hunde somit optimal"
