« We enjoyed our stay at The Herring House. Helga & Dagur were fantastic hosts. Breakfast was great: yogurt, breads, homemade jam, meat, fruit, juice. They kindly provided gluten free bread on request. The need was comfy. The room was dark and very quiet. We had a cabin with its own bathroom. Just be aware that the shower is outdoors and shared. »
« This is a fantastic boutique hotel in a sleepy little Nothern Iceland town where the whale watching is out your window if you are lucky enough! The beer hot tubs,
which is a must if a beer lover is a 2 minute walk up the street. The pictures of this place and entrance donât do it justice. The rooms are huge with picturesque windows of the ocean and island nearby. There is a real king size bed (not two twins stuck together). A lovey little sitting area as well. The wifi and TV works...
