We had to check in at the Blue Fish Rentals prior to checkin because I wouldn't send a copy of my CC, Drivers liscense and a copy of my signature to them vis email. We could not find the office for a good 30minute after arriving at the building. There were no signs indicating where the office was. We we finally found the unit number on the back of the building it was locked up tight, even tho they knew we were coming. The unit was dirty, holes in the walls that had been poorly patched and left unpainted. Baseboards and wall were dirty and in need of new paint. Stove had dried food and grease around burners. When we went to wash a load of towels, we found the washer full of foul smelling water and we werent able to drain it. The refridgerator took 24 hours to cool. Our icecream and ice we put in the freezer melted.
We ended up staying in the unit since we were only there for 3 nights. The master bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean thank goodness or we would have bolted. Overall, I was disappointed the condo and the state of Myrtle Beach. The resort was crowded, the pool was overcrowded, the jets on the hot tubs (2 out of 3) were not working. The people in the unit below us blasted music every night until midnight. Had to call the cops. Don't Stay Here!
