We were really looking forward to our stay, but unfortunately, the experience fell short in several areas.From the start, there was no flexibility with early check-in, and no designated area to leave our bags, which made arrival a bit stressful. When we reached out for help or clarification, there was very little sense of urgency or support â it felt like we were on our own the entire time. They eventually helped us check in an hour early, but because the unit is separately owned from the resort, no one at the resort could help us. One of the biggest disappointments was the lack of access to the outdoor pool, something we had assumed was included. It was very briefly mentioned on the listing that it wouldnât be available, but no reminder or callout when booked which felt misleading. It also states that it could be as early as 3/5 to be back and on 5/23, the pools were no where near ready. Inside the unit, a few issues made the stay less comfortable. A wasp was in the unit when we arrived, and despite reaching out, we received no assistance from the property managers. Basic supplies were missing, like sponges for washing dishes, which seems like a small thing but added to the overall frustration.Maintenance-wise, the master bedroom had several problems: one of the light bulbs was out, the shower was either scalding or barely functional due to a clog, and, most concerning, the smoke detector was unplugged â a real
