« Check-in was extremely easy and the host messaged us that our unit was left unlocked for us, just before we arrived. He let us check in about 30 minutes early upon our arrival, which I appreciated so much being that we had a 5 week old newborn with us. The cottage was as described and very clean. « Lovely cottage with real wood interior in a great location. Everything was nice and clean. Central AC. Kitchen is well furnished with basic dishes and flatware but we did bring our mobile kitchen with a heavy frying pan, carbon knives, coffee-making, drink-mixing kit. Beds are good (bring your own sheets). Short walk to the beach, near restaurants and services. Great communication. »

« This location was perfect for our family. Minutes away from the beach, Village clubhouse was top notch and a great option when you want to be in the water but not beach. House layout is nice for privacy should you need a minute to yourself. The owner was very nice and readily available if needed. We will be back again in 2026! »

« Great little beach house! Clean and comfy in a great location. Very convenient to beach access and the fishing pier. Despite being centrally located it was quiet inside. Sitting on the front porch somehow felt private while we watched people coming and going from the beach. Nice and shady in the afternoon. We would definitely recommend. Nothing fancy but really perfect for a little true KDH / OBX experience. »

« This house has everything you need to enjoy the beach without the hassle of the beach. You can sit on the porch and breath in the ocean, or you can walk over the dune and be on the beach. There is an outdoor shower and 2 hoses so you can rinse off before either getting in the hot tub or going into the house. The house is spacious, has all you need to not have to eat out every meal. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed this house and making memories. Highly recommend. »
