Matratze zu hart. Das war das einzige. Ansonsten hätte es auch ein europäisches 5 Sterne Hotel sein können.

Very nice hotel with roof top pool and bar and good view about the area. Breakfast was good but very pricey. 2 restaurants, out of which I had an Indian dish which got me food poisoned instantly upon return to room I had to spend a terrible night often in the bathroom. Response of hotel team was adequate, however they even didn’t offer to cancel the respective bill. Altogether a good place hut heavily overpriced for my taste. Decided NOT to return.

Sehr Freundliche Mitarbeiter. Hotel billig gebaut aber Zimmer gut eingerichtet. Sehr gutes Frühstück. Etwas hellhörig. Bei meinem Aufenthalt Baustelle im Haus so dass von morgens bis abends Krach war.

Hotel liegt in für mich günstiger Lage.
Leider Bauarbeiten im 7. Stock, die durchaus bis in den 3. Stock gut zu hören sind. Die Rezeption war leider ziemlich überfordert als ich eine Nacht zubuchen wollte.. ich hätte ja die ersten 3 Nächte über Expedia gebucht, das wäre nun schwierig?? Ich sollte den Expedia Preis nennen, der dann allerdings auch nicht gehalten werden konnte, d.h. ich bezahlte für die Verlängerungsnacht weit mehr...Und ich fragte bereits am Abend vorher, als ich am nächsten Abend ins Hotel kam, sagte man mir ich müsse die Zimmerkarte zurückgeben da diese nun nicht mehr gilt, und ich würde Ersatz bekommen..... erst gegen 21 Uhr bekam ich diese neue Karte, ich wartete in der Bar während die Rezeptionistin immer noch versuchte das Management zu erreichen ob der Preis für das Zimmer denn nun mit oder ohne Steuer wäre... hätte man mir nicht die Zimmerkarte schon aushändigen können??????????? Das Zimmer war dann auch nicht "nacht-bereit" gemacht wie an anderen Tagen... das hat dem ganzen einen schlechten Beigeschmack gegeben..

Super Service in tollen Hotel
Ich war zwei Wochen im Sankara für einen geschäftlichen Aufenthalt. Super Service, tolle Küche, auch das neue Steak-Restaurant ist sehr zu empfehlen.

Echt zufrieden
Wir sind nicht zum ersten Mal im Sankara. Wir haben immer gute Erfahrungen gemacht. Ein kleiner dunkler Fleck: beim Frühstücksraum wurde etwas umgebaut und ab 0900 hörte man ein leichtes Hämmern.

The service was really nice and security here made you feel safe. The rooms were smaller than I hoped for- we stayed here for the first few days of our trip and then went to movenpick for the last few days. Their rooms were bigger and spacious but the service was better here - it was still good but I felt at sankara they were just always ready to go above and beyond.

Spectacular Sankara!
Beautiful clean property with very kind and attentive staff. Nice rooms with comfy beds and rooftop restaurant has excellent food. The mall with a Carrefour is a 5-minute walk from the hotel. Our drivers employed by the hotel are excellent, informative and friendly. Will absolutely stay here again!

The service was wonderful, the management is very very profession and I highly commend Ms JOAN WAVALA, the guest Services Manager for her management style and everything she did for us to enjoy our stay at he Sankara. This was our third stay in Sankara within 1 year and we hope to come back again in July 2023. The only draw back is that the hotel has no SPA/Massage Parlor which a hotel of Sankara's Caliber should have. Second note is that refrigerators should be available in every room.

My stay at the Sankara Nairobi was excellent. The accommodatand, the staff/service was quite nice, beyond expectations and an oasis even among many European and US hotels where I have stayed. Definitely the best hotel in Nairobi, I would highly recommend it, our room was pristine, the steak restaurant was fantastic and breakfast buffet was delicious. For sure we will come back and it is ideally located as well.

My second time .. This hotel needs a lot of improvement from service to the property Hostile feeling when staff make you feel unwelcome.. chef/waiters don’t know their own menu 🙇‍♀️ I stayed in Marriot hotel and this has no Marriot standards neither 3/4/5 star standards It’s in great location in Westland though Solomon is always best host (he’s gem ) The rest need work and upgrade

I really was looking forward on the stay to sankara ..! Upon arrival I received not welcoming I stood by receipt for long time while receptionist (Lidya ) was on personal .. Solomon walked in and served us from drying standing up 😊 Solomon made our whole stay very comfortable .. he was very helpful and went out of his way to make our stay comfortable (he deserve raise and upgrade ) Everyday morning On our stay we had to sign after breakfast (they said was just protocol ) coming to end of our stay we were checking out and paying our bills to find out we were billed for things that we weren’t supposed too bill was 700$ something we end up paying 300$ something Breakfast on room which was breakfast included We had 2 rooms both room upon arrival was breakfast included .. we had to argue about the bill for like 1hr they then removed one room breakfast but we still have to pay for one other room (we were breakfast included package ) at end we decided to pay and leave JUST PAY ATTENTION TO BILLS also there is security check diversity there are people go through security check and there some people who don’t (colorism’s Was felt ) As hotel that is under Marriot has no Marriot standard ..

a wonderful oasis in the middle of the vibrant part of Nairobi .. Extremely nice staff Nice kept but not a new hotel .. Brilliant dinning and entertainment options
