I understand the concept of being more affordable because this hotel lacks some "common" hotel amenities such as housekeeping, Ice, and a pool, but this was NOT a great experience. Upon entering, I was being helped by a gentleman who was handling my check-in, and all of a sudden, he began to help the person checking in next to me (who came in after me and someone else was assisting) and began a long speech about the hotel and her check-in payments, like i wasn't just standing there with my wife and son wanting to check in. This Hotel room is like moving into a college dorm room, where just the bones of the room are there. Most channels on the TV did not work, and a full kitchen is available, with not a single utensil, not even a disposable cup. Bring your own bathroom supplies; there is no shampoo, conditioner, or body wash. There is one small coffee machine in the lobby. You guessed it: no creamer or coffee cups were available. I was able to overlook all those things until I went to the front desk to ask for an extra roll of toilet paper, only to be told, "We don't have any." When I jokingly replied, "What should I do, use face towels?" I was met with a shoulder shrug. Now I'm just like everyone else, trying to find a good deal, but this tradeoff didn't feel worth it compared to the price of a "regular" Hotel.
