Loved the big bathroom Floors were all linoleum didnt care for that. No locks on outer door and blinds didnt work properly

Better than nothing
Eh, not the best by no means. Yet, the options are slim out in that area. Just be prepared for the main office closing at 8. Also, if you need any ice after 8, it'll be a no go. On, and no coffee! Again, prepare to hit the nearest convenience store.

Check in was easy, room was clean, bathroom was clean. I wasn’t worried about my car getting broken into overnight(I was worried in Montrose). Hopefully they get their restaurant up and running, it will be nice having dining options on the property. Definitely recommended if you need a place to stay in the area

Out of the way, but the scenery is terrific
Due to how hard it is to find help now days, the motel had a long delay in getting our room available. We showed up at 3:00, but had to wait until almost 5:00 pm before we could get into our room. This seemed to be a running theme at the four different motels we stayed at during this trip, so plan accordingly

Arrived after 3pm, notional check-in time but reception was closed. Rang on provided phone and receptionist said she'd be there in 10 minutes. Otherwise OK, and room was clean and comfortable. Guest laundry temporarily out of service.

Staff was excellent and friendly. Can hear people talking and walking in the rooms above and beside. Bathroom had bugs all over (didn’t notice until the morning I left.) Blondies was advertised to be open until 9pm (same owner as hotel). Went there at 7pm and it was closed. Went over to the pizza place and got great food there. Nice place and community otherwise but it was a bit of a letdown.

The whole place is nice and clean inside and out. It's an older motel so the rooms are larger than more "modern" motels, at least ours was. Paint looks fresh inside and out and overall the building and room are in good repair. The little deck that overlooks the parking lot was clean and obviously taken care of regularly. Staff seems friendly and helpful. Overall we are super happy with it and will absolutely be back.

Was to have a ADa accessable room. Was not!! Bath was filthy could not use !!!! Worst stay we ever had anyware!!?! Never saw any maid service only one towel for three person's!!

This looks to be a newer building and the rooms were clean and modern, beds comfortable and the desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. Rooms are accessed from an interior hallway and the entrance door was propped open all evening and the carpet nearby was a little dirty....but there are few bug issues...being, it's Colorado. There is no self serve ice machine but you can have the desk clerk fill a bucket for you from the office. The AC worked well and we slept soundly. A great place to stay for such a very small community far away from any large city. Be sure to take the river canyon road north of town that goes up to Grand Junction. It is spectacular !

Great stay at a great price
The stay was great and very comfortable. Clean rooms, clean property and the price was great considering the surrounding areas that were much more expensive. The young gal at the front desk with the long brown hair was so sweet and so kind. She truly knows the meaning of great customer service.

We stayed at the Rimrock Motel last year, so i decided to stay again this year so we could ride the Million Dollar Highway in the daylight. Last year we rode it in the dark. Got a good nights sleep and a shower.

Breakfast was to be included and served at the property, but was not. We were sent to a restaurant that is owned by the owner of the motel, where we had to pay for the breakfast. We believe this is a misleading practice and should be corrected.

The hospitality attendant, was understaffed, and she handled her duties beautifully. If I could have reached in and given her a raise, or a bonus I would. It is hard to find someone that doesn’t crack under pressure.

The stay here this time was horrible. The mattress was not on a frame that fit so when i sat down or moved it tried to flip over, the local live ins were loud all night long, and i could hear every time the room next to mine used the restroom.

The room was comfortable with a vanity area separate from the toilet/bathtub area. The window does have blinds that are inadequate for blocking light if you are a light-sensitive sleeper. Adding drapery would help immensely. The refrigerator does not have a freezer compartment and it does not have a temperature adjustment; it kept things cool but certainly not cold. There is a fitness room and nice outdoor seating/eating areas. The advertised on-property bistro/cafe is closed. The only restaurant in town is Blondie's Cafe; acceptable but nothing to write about.
