quick trip

We stayed in a efficiency which was cleaned every other day. Rundown condo's and studios. TV very small. The beach & balcony were wonderful.The freshwater pool area was extremely slippery & dangerous to use. Watched security guard sleep at his post for 3 mins. before I tooted the horn for him to lift the gate:( There are no type of activities to do here b/c the place is closed. Several of the units were occupied & those we met were friendly. Situated btwn Hedoism & Lido. That's where all the action was at. Had to pick-up and return key about 2 miles down the road at Firefly which was an inconvenience. No WiFi. Pay the same & stay elsewhere for a better time.

Ok for 2 1/2 stars

Positives - location - close to everything but not too close; quiet/privacy - not many people around; view - overlooking ocean and sunsets; people - everyone was very nice in the other apartments; beach - nice beach and good snorkelling. Not-so-positives - room - toaster didn't work well, fan was noisy and scary; TV didn't work; no hot water until we found the on switch :); service - no on-site assistance; amenities - no wifi; pool was run down; not many beach chairs that worked.

Carib Beach Apartments

Beautiful landscape that is tend to on a daily basis. My room overlooked the ocean, which was an amazing view. It lacks amenities such as an iron and iron board, the TV is extremely small like a hurricane battery tv. The stove took a while to heat up as well. However the bed was a posturpedic , which was lovely and a working microwave and refrigerator. The room was quite cozy with a great veranda. The beach is within walking distance . I do plan on visiting this hotel again.

great if you want to be left alone.and you like quite.

I enjoyed the beach,pool and the quite surrounding. The veiw from my room was great.
