Welcome to Dogwood Retreat! This spacious Wintergreen home features two levels of decks. On the upper deck, you'll love the year-round mountain view with gas firepit and couches. The lower deck features a hot tub plus outdoor dining set. Inside, you'll love the open floor plan, renovated kitchen, game room downstairs, and 5 bedrooms that can sleep 14 comfortably. There's a ton to do in the area! Dogwood Retreat is about a mile to the slopes and a few minutes’ drive to all the dining and entertainment at Wintergreen. Some of the best hiking trails in the state are off the Blue Ridge Parkway (15 minutes from the home), plus Wintergreen itself has a vast network of hiking trails right near the house. Also nearby are two sandy-beach-entrance lakes plus a community pool for swimming, and over dozen wineries, breweries, and distilleries- all within a 30 minute drive.

The home layout is as follows:

Main level:

- Upper deck features outdoor couches and chairs around a propane fire table, plus gas grill. Enjoy the year-round mountain views!
- Living room with vaulted ceilings and wood burning fireplace (firewood provided)
- Newly renovated kitchen with everything you need to prepare large meals, and bar seating along the wall for 3
- Dining area with table for 10
- BR1: Master bedroom with king bed and ensuite bathroom
- Half bath

Upper level:

- BR2: Queen bedroom
- BR3: Bedroom with 2 twins, a full bed, plus a bunk bed
- Jack-and-Jill full bathroom

Lower level:

- Additional living room / game room with kitchenette, air hockey, and arcade
- BR4: Queen bedroom
- BR5: Two twin bedroom
- Full hall bath
- Lower deck with hot tub and outdoor dining table / chairs

Other things to note:

- Dogwood Retreat is pet friendly! We allow up to 4 pets with a $100 pet fee (total, not per pet or per night). The deck is entirely enclosed, so unless your pup has a penchant for fence-jumping, they can be outdoors off-leash on the back deck
- Wintergreen offers hiking, skiing, snowboarding, tubing, swimming, dining, spa, ropes course, golfing, and much more.
- Motorcycles are not permitted at Wintergreen Resort
- Bring your electric vehicle! Home features an EV Plug in Outlet - Level 2 (240V)
- There is room for 4-5 vehicles to park at the property. Additional overflow parking lot is available if needed.
- Wifi is fast with a strong signal throughout the house and deck. The living room and downstairs game room feature a smart TVs where you can access all the main streaming services.
- We provide a fully stocked coffee bar with multiple coffee drip and Keurig options
- Linens and towels provided
- Guests can enjoy free community pool access in the summer season (though the HOA rules stipulate no more than 6 guests at a time, and the permitted hours are 2-6pm).
- We do require a separate rental agreement, which we will send a link to e-sign after you book. There are no additional fees beyond those listed here.
- Please note that if you would like to send packages to the property, you do so at your own risk. USPS is particularly unreliable. We can not be held responsible for late or undelivered packages. Additionally, we charge $25 for any return services requested, in additional to actual postage.
