It was great at the farm! The place is nice and cozy. We loved the game room and being able to horseback ride and feed the goats. Getting freshly laid eggs is great too. The location is fantastic for Brian Head, Parowan Gap, and of course Zion! We absolutely recommend this place. Rhonda and Bart are great hosts!
Our family really enjoyed the game room, the living room (perfect gathering space for family), and the animals. Thank you for such a unique and memorable stay 3
This has become one of our favorite spots! The setting is beautiful - literally across the road from the Canyon access. :) My children loved visiting the animals every 30 min. we were there, and the rooms were as comfortable as our own home. Rhonda and Bart were very gracious and welcoming, offering tips for the best hikes with kids and making sure we had extra eggs and towels for our large crew. :) We can't wait to come back!
My son and I loved staying at this property. We love animals so interacting with all the animals was our favorite activity. We enjoyed the large, indoor space to relax and cook in after our adventures. Rhonda and her hubby were very kind and personable. No complaints!
Thank you for a wonderful long weekend!! Everything was BETTER than described and we felt right at home. The beds are super comfortable, very functional kitchen and living area. Convienent location to the kolobs and an easy drive to Cedar city or St George or Zion area. Our favorite part was visiting the chickens, goats, and horses. We canât wait to come again.
Loved our stay in this quiet little valley near Zion. Even better than the pictures. Great kitchen and living area and even though the game room is under construction, and the kids still loved it! Also, they loved feeding carrots to the goats and the horses! The biggest downside was the distance to Zion, but if you donât mind the drive, it was a fantastic place to stay.
Look no furtherâŠthis was the best stay ever. Property was perfect for my party of three, we all got our own rooms. Rhonda was so nice and accommodating. It made our Zion experience that much betterâWAY cooler than staying in a hotel! I will be back!
This spot is so big, cozy, and adorable! It has such a comfy bed, nice shower, and large living space! The animals are all super friendly and were really fun to be around. The host was so friendly and accommodating, greeting us when we arrived and showing us around the place. I would have been perfectly comfortable with asking her for help/additional supplies if we had needed it. Highly recommend, and would stay here again! It was also so nice to be right by the Kolob Canyons entrance; this was a beautiful scenic drive!
Great Ranch experience- but if you are traveling with your dog you may want to think twice
The property was definelty as expected. What a wonderful way to see horses and chickens. The property is underneath the owner who works from home. We had a dog did not realize when we went out to Zion, that she was barking at the free range chickens. We got a texted from the host informing us that we would have to take our dog out during the day because the owner works from home and could not work with the barking. I get it. But we did have to change our trip around to accommodate the owners wishes. We end up having to leave one family member behind each day to watch our dog. Most of the trails around the area do not allow dogs including most of Zion park. So, if you are traveling with a pet, please consider how your dog may respond to free rooming chickens. If you think they may tend to bark and you were not planning on taking them with you for the whole day, you ,may want to recosider staying here. It would have been a perfect place if we had no dog. It was in a perfect location, clean and definelty a range feel. I would have reconsidered if I would have known the expectation was that the dog would have to be with us during the day.
We had a wonderful stay over the Christmas holidays! We enjoyed the peaceful farm atmosphere and appreciated the convenient location near the park. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing getaway!
We loved our stay. We loved waking up to the horses and feeding them. We got to hold some baby chickens, which is not an ordinary thing for us. The place was adorable and the atmosphere was so peaceful. It made it worth the fact that it was a drive into Zion. Rhonda was the nicest most gracious host. She fit in very well with our crazy group.
My mother and I stayed for 2 nights while visiting Zion. It was fun to see the horses, chickens and especially the cats who were super friendly! The space was clean and comfortable with lots of blankets to cuddle up with. Rhonda was very responsive and friendly. To enter the home, you have to manually open a garage door and enter the space through a door in the garage. The door that we entered through did not have a deadbolt or any other sort of lock from the inside. Also, when we were first exploring the house, we opened a door inside thinking it was a room and realized it was a staircase up to the ownerâs home, which was not able to be locked and secured from our side. The listing was accurate in that it is a basement apartment below the main house. Even though our privacy was respected, I personally prefer a little more feelings of security when I stay somewhere. Other than that, we enjoyed our time. It is very close to Kolob Canyon. I would definitely recommend visiting there! One of our favorite hikes from our trip ended up being an unmarked trail we found at Kolob Canyon. MUCH less crowded than Zion. The home is also close to the highway with easy access to a fairly large town with lots of restaurant options. Although the hens werenât laying eggs much because of the cold, Rhonda did manage to get 3 for us, which was very nice!
Loved the communication with our host - loved the location which was super convenient for the things we wanted to see. Loved the "home" feel of our lodgings.
our host was very nice. we enjoyed the eggs for breakfast. our stay though wasn't very comfortable since the description of the house was that it has 6 beds and it only had 3. there were 4 of us so one didn't have a bed.
Bart and Rhonda have been the best hosts! Loved seeing the farm animals and feeding the horses. The lovely appartment, is stocked with everything you need. They definitely make you feel lile family.
The place was perfect for our stay. It was less than a mile from where our friends were getting married and we couldnt have asked for a better accommodation. Rhonda is lovely and her sons were adorable. We can't wait to go back and spend more time hiking the area as we did not have time this go-around.
Rhonda and the farm were amazing! We pulled in after dinner on night one and had car issues. Rhonda offered to take someone to town for food and then provided milk, pancakes mix,and syrup to make sure we had breakfast in the morning. Rhonda also provided information on hikes local to her location and places at Bryce and Zion. Rhonda farm was one of the best decisions that we could have made for our trip. Definitely recommend a stay at the farm to relax and take in all of the beauty! We will be coming back!
We were so blessed to find this property for 5 adults and our 3 grandbabies. Rhonda was an amazing host!! she made us feel very welcome and made our stay very special with taking beautiful pictures of our little ones enjoying the farm animals and feeding them too. We enjoyed our spacious home, barbecued on the grill and did smores around the fire pit. We found out near the end of our stay we were just steps away from Kolob Canyons. It was such a beautiful location with little farm friends that we all loved and miss. Thanks for having us Rhonda! You were amazing ! â€ïžâ€ïž
I honestly cannot say enough good things about this place and the host. The rental was spacious, clean, cute, and very comfortable. Rhonda and her husband are two of the nicest people we have ever met. The rental is literally across the street from the national park so it is very easy to go for a hike and come right back without having to drive a long way. I would recommend this rental to anyone wanting to visit the area and we hope to visit it again one day!
