„The place was perfect for a two day trip. It was clean and had a great view of the little lake and fall colors. We were able to cook breakfast on the electric griddle provided, however, we were not able to grill the steaks we had planned because of no way to clean the grill. No problem, though, we just had an authentic German meal out instead.“

„The property was nice and really clean, you can tell there was much attention put into every detail. The hosts were very communicative from the start and they were responsive to our questions. The area is really quiet, and outside from the Pinckney Bend Distillery there are not many activities you can do in the area. It does serve well as a place where you can easily go to Hermann or Washington (about 20 mins driving distance).“

„Wine Alley West was a convenient and clean place. It's close to the Amtrak station, wineries, shopping, and eating. The owners provide many amenities with needed kitchen accessories including silverware, bowls and dishes. Beds were comfortable and plenty of towels were provided for showers. „The place is pretty but the electricity situation was ridiculous. 2 days of cold showers because circuit breaker kept tripping. We had to turn off lights and air so the circuit would stay on. The maintenance guy was very kind and polite. He did all he could do at the moment to remedy the problem to no avail. Smelled very moldy. Food was good downstairs, great staff at the restaurant. The people and location are nice. The electricity problems caused a lot of inconvenience, cold showers sucked.“

„Gorgeous working farm; friendly, responsive on-site owners; best guard dog of all time (Dakota!); top-notch fishing in the pond (bass & HUGE bluegill!); convenient to Hermann (10-15 mins) and all the shops, wineries and distilleries! The room is small/quaint but has what you need: bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, and shared deck overlooking the scenic pond/lake. It was clean and comfortable. This is a place we will visit again, no doubt!“

„This is our second stay at this beautiful property. We rang in the New Year at Mandolin Ridge and it was beautiful. We were greeted with the birth of two baby goats which was quite auspicious. The home is spacious and like going to a comfortable, beautifully appointed museum. Each room has hidden delights. A feast for the eyes indeed. The host, Loribeth, is considerate and warm as well detail oriented. It is clear she wants to provide excellence! Mandolin Ridge and Loribeth really deliver.“

„We really enjoy the cabin in the woods. The K9s loved the off-leash area to play. Hubby and I slept with the window open on the rainy night and we slept in for the first time in a year! Great communication and snacks! We found out our brother in law stayed at the Cowboy Cottage about month ago. That tells you how great of a place the cottage is towards being calm.“

"Die Preis/Leistung stimmt bei diesem Hotel garnicht, es ist wirklich sehr Altmodisch eingerichtet und die Badewanne/Dusche hat die besten Zeiten hinter sich. Die Toilette war sauber, was neben dem netten Personal der einzige Pluspunkt ist. Der Bettbezug war an allen 4 Seiten offen sodass die Bettdecke rausgerutscht ist, das wäre an sich nicht so schlimm, wären da keine (Blut?) Flecken dran gewesen. Der Kühlschrank im Zimmer schaltet sich immer wieder mal ein und brummt dann eine ganz schöne Zeit dahin was auch nicht sehr angenehm ist. Die Zimmer haben definitiv eine Renovierung nötig, für diesen Preis ein No Go."
