„Small quiet town great to get away from it all. Wineries with live music and small town dining nearby. Easy to navigate the area by car. Katy trail in walking distance. Very clean and comfortable house. Had everything we needed and more!“

„Hosts were great, helpful and responsive. The Home is amazingly historic and so certainly has its limits, but it should not mean it cannot be warm and comfortable with decor and furnishings. There is no HVAC upstairs so space heaters were fussy to maintain and keep on with timers, etc. There is only two lamps in the home, so all rooms rely on ceiling fan lights - which are effective but do not allow a more relaxed evening or early morning atmosphere. „It was clean, beds were comfortable and there were many unexpected extras like coffee, snacks, water. Beer and soda for purchase, qtips, cotton balls,, body wash, shampoo and cream rinse, makeup remover pads, toothpaste and toothbrushes. Also plenty of toilet paper and very easy to get into. Having a light on the porch is fantastic because I’ve arrived at other places at night like this time and there was no light so you’re digging for your phone to turn the flashlight on. „Great communication, had a couple of leaks and shower flooded but the maintenance came right away to fix it. Overall clean, AC/Heat unit in each room, big kitchen, wonderful sitting area and decor.“

„Everything was clean and neat. Just as expected. What a nice little house in a quiet rural area. Seems like very close access to the Katy trail. We had three kids and five adults but with all the beds, basement space and foldout couches, it could have easily slept 13. More if you bring an air mattress. This was perfect for our overnight stay for a family wedding. The host was very responsive to all my pestering messages. “

„An absolute perfect place to stay with our dogs. Everything about it was pet friendly. The most relaxing place we have stayed with our 4 dogs. Host was quick to communicate before and even during our stay. Above and beyond amenities. We had cookies waiting for us upon arrival. We will most definitely be staying here next time we are in the area. Quiet location with a fanced in area to let the dogs off leash.“
