On the day of our arrival, our host emailed us the entry instructions, letting us know we could enter the property before noon on Saturday. Although it was a nice gesture, we didn't arrive until later in the afternoon. Our only complaint was the 10 a.m. checkout time; 11 or 11:30 would have been much more convenient.
The property is located three blocks south of Magazine Street, just a short three-minute stroll away. The neighborhood was diverse and felt safe, with minimal noise inside the property and a quiet atmosphere after sunset (in June). One tile was broken on the small set of four steps leading to the porch, which seemed to be recent damage. Entry to the property was easy with the provided electronic code.
Upon walking through the door, you notice the scent of an older home, but it's clear the residence has been nicely refurbished. The kitchen was modern, and the couch in the living room was very comfortable. There are three large TVs in the property (one in the living room and one in each bedroom). Each bedroom has its own full-size bath, with modern amenities and provided body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. The towels are plentiful and of nice quality, and the king-size beds are comfortable with nice bedding. Every room has a large ceiling fan, and the HVAC system cools the property well, even in the sweltering end-of-June heat. A washer and dryer, along with laundry detergent, are included in the residence.
