Our stay was overall a positive experience, but a few areas fell short for us. First off, we loved the hotel’s style, decor, cleanliness and convenient location. Lunch at the hotel restaurant was a hit too—the food and service were top-notch!
However, we did run into some discomfort with our room. The bed was surprisingly uncomfortable, with a big dip in the middle that really affected our sleep during our five-night stay. Also, the shower pressure was weak, which made getting ready a bit of a hassle, and one of the elevators closest to our room was out of service one day.
Our biggest complaint is with the customer service at the front desk specifically. When we checked in, we were told that the hotel does not charge any property fees, despite of me asking but we ended up getting extra charges on our last day. Checking out didn’t smooth things over either. They promised to send our invoice via email, but it never came through. Despite following up by email and through Expedia, we still haven’t received it almost 3 weeks later, leaving us in the dark about what exactly we were charged for.
For future guests, I’d suggest asking for a printed bill when you check out to avoid any surprises. There’s a lot to like about this Hyatt, but our experience was definitely a mixed bag.
