« The CONVENIENCE of this location to public transport is remarkable. It's an old building - probably the only reason I've downgraded the amenities. They're old fashioned, but just the best bed to sleep in with brilliant linen, and towels readily available. I was in a very quiet room at the back of the premises. Just basically felt like home! »

Being able to rent simple, reliable snow gear directly from Carinya at a very decent rate took a lot of hassle out of our trip. Room was clean and quiet and we loved the bonfire, but the unexpected gem was the restaurant where the friendly, easygoing staff fed us delicious, traditional Indian food at about half the price of what we'd pay in Canberra or Sydney. Thanks team, we'll be back! »

« The best spot for a weekend away. Was for a birthday so being able to have all the family under one roof, plenty of beds and bathrooms, kitchen to organise our own meals and easy access to the pool, tennis court etc was perfect. Very comfy beds too! Was nice and close to the main areas of the Hunter valley. We had a small issue at one point but called and the gentleman we spoke with was so helpful and even advised we could check out a little later if needed due to the inconvenience. Really...
