Room was small but good, bathroom was okay too. Safe didn’t work. They’re charging a facility fee you have to pay upon checkout, read the terms carefully. Also, $200 security deposit will be charged to your credit card, keep that in mind too. Breakfast was pastry and dry croissants, sadly nothing savory.

Die Bettbezüge waren dreckig als wir eingecheckt sind (erst am Abend gemerkt, als wir ins Bett wollten…) - am nächsten morgen habe ich direkt darum gebeten, dass der room service gemacht werden soll (wird nicht automatisch jeden Tag gemacht aufgrund von Nachhaltigkeit, vermutlich eher wegen Kosteneinsparungen…). Sind danach in die City und als wir abends wieder kamen, war der room service natürlich nicht gemacht worden, sondern das Zimmer sah aus wie am Morgen - dann zur Rezeption, was schief gelaufen ist, aber das konnte mir keiner sagen. Antwort war nur, dass es für das housekeeping natürlich zu spät war und sie uns im Gegenzug einfach neue Bezüge bringen wollen - diese kamen nie… am nächsten morgen dann nochmal nach service gefragt, nachdem auf Rückfrage wieso weder Service noch neue Bezüge gebracht wurden nicht mal eine Entschuldigung kam… (Service wurde dann gemacht, der Fleck auf dem Bett war am Abend, als wir zurückkamen, immer noch da…); am nächsten Tag entsprechend nochmal nach dem housekeeping gefragt, welcher dann schlussendlich gemacht wurde und wir damit auch endlich neue Bezüge fürs Bett bekommen haben. Ansonsten war es im Hotelzimmer aufgrund Klima und (vermutlich) Baustelle / Klima vom Nachbar-Gebäude wirklich laut in der Nacht, was einen erholsamen Schlaf schwierig gemacht hat. Die Dusche hat mit Mühe und Not auch funktioniert, allerdings nicht immer (war alles etwas in die Jahre gekommen). Das Frühstück war leider mehr als dürftig, die Lage aber gut!

Perfekte Lage! Zimmerservice alle 2 Tage. Grab‘n‘Go-Frühstück: nichts für Europäer; 6.30h-9.00h, nur Süßkram und O-Saft, aber nie genug, keine Mich für den Kaffee, Riesenandrang und kein Platz, kann man sich schenken! Kofferaufbewahrung kostet 5 Dollar! Personal durchwachsen; einige Super, andere nicht.

I can’t really explain. It was ok. Nothing really wrong but I guess I thought it was going to be a little fancier. It’s like if owners of a speakeasy opened a hotel. It’s quiet for sleep but at 7 am everyone’s banging around and the doors are super thin. I liked the snack shop. The staff was friendly. The shower was amazing. I don’t even leave reviews ever but for some reason I felt compelled to let you know it’s average. I feel like for the price I have better options. I just wanted to try something new. So I guess I typed all this out for no reason. I could have just said “eh.”

The location was great; you had to pay $25 a night for a “hotel” fee. House-keeping was optional and had to be requested. There was a sign in the door that said not to inhabit the building by because of some health code violation or permit, I took a pic of the sign. It was really nice to have croissants and bananas in the morning and it’s right across the street from a Starbucks! Overall it was adequate.

The property was nice, the location was perfect, right next to the Times Square. The only issue was the breakfast, they called it a breakfast, but there was only tea, coffee, juice and croissant.

We like its convenient location, just a block away from Times Square. And it's safe even though walking in late night. Room is a bit small when you open 2 suitcases. The small lobby which also serves as breakfast room is too pack too.
