Das Frühstück ist unterirdisch schlecht; billigste Lebensmittel werden auf Papptellern gepackt und mit Plastikbesteck verzehrt. Die Zimmer sind sehr klein und riechen unangenehm. Die Klimaanlage macht einen Höllenlärm. Ich hatte mit heftigen allergischen Reaktoonen in dem Hotel zu kämpfen.

Super Lage. Tolle Auswahl beim Frühstück (Bagel, Cornflakes, Joghurt, Käse, Wurst, Würstchen, Rührei, Bratkartoffeln, Obst). Größe der Zimmer entsprechend New York nicht riesig aber ausreichend. Jedes Zimmer hat einen kleinen Kühlschrank, Mikrowelle, Wasserkocher.. morgens Stau vor Aufzügenaber das ist jedem Hotel zu den Soßzeiten so.

Schlechter Service in jeglicher Hinsicht, zu teuer
Die Zimmer waren okay, nicht neu, aber sauber und ordentlich. Die Lage war super. Jedoch gab es für 27 große Etagen mit vielen Zimmern nur 4 Fahrstühle, wodurch man ewig auf den Fahrstuhl gewartet hat und er jedes Mal überfüllt war (morgens meist bis zu 10 Minuten). Das war super nervig und hat viel Zeit gekostet. Das Frühstück war sehr einfach und alles von Pappgeschirr und aus Plastikbechern. Am Ende wurden die Sachen nichtmal recycled, was ich für ein Hotel dieser Größe und für diesen Preis nicht angemessen finde. An zwei Tagen hintereinander gab es weder Eagles noch Milch für Kaffee und Müsli, da sie angeblich aus war. Das finde ich ist eine Frechheit für den Preis dieses Hotels. Es gab auch keine Entschuldigung und so musste ich trotz bezahltem Frühstück außerhäusig frühstücken. Der Frühstücksraum war auch sehr dreckig. Es gab mehrmals Probleme mit unserer Zimmerkarte und ich habe an einem Tag 4Mal zur Rezeption gehen müssen, um eine neue Karte zu kriegen. Das personal war sehr unfreundlich und hat sich nicht einmal entschuldigt, selbst beim 4. Mal nicht, wodurch ich fast meinen Flug verpasst hätte, da ich nicht in mein Zimmer kam. Fazit: zu schlechter Service in jeglicher Hinsicht für solch einen Preis!

Good place to stay in Manhattan
Nice & clean room, everything was there for the daily needs (ice trayer, fridge, coffee machine). The room is not huge but you can walk around the bed and next to the window is space for the luggage. The free breakfast was good and the choice of food were more than enough. Every day between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. you can drink free beers and wine at the hotel bar. Overall we were happy with the choice, the bed was super comfy and we had a nice time there.

Etwas kleines, aber sehr gut ausgestattetes Zimmer. Der Frühstücksraum ist für die Anzahl der Gäste viel zu klein, morgens gibt es immer Platzprobleme, was zu einer mühseligen Sitzplatzsuche führt. Gutes umfangreiches Frühstück, leider gibt es nur Einweggeschirr und Kunststoffbestecke, was zu umfangreichen Müllbergen führt. Sehr gute Lage in fußläufiger Entfernung zur Penn-Station.

Ich hatte ein Zimmer im 22. Stockwerk. Das Zimmer war geräumig und das Bad ebenfalls. Alles wurde täglich gereinigt. Da es nur zwei Fahrstühle gab, musste man zwischen 08:30 Uhr und 09:00 Uhr längere Wartezeiten vor den Lifts in Kauf nehmen. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und sehr gut. Man konnte sogar draußen sitzen. Der einzige dicke Minuspunkt ist die Rückzahlung, der beim einchecken, geforderten 300 Dollar Kaution. Beim auschecken wurde mir versichert, dass die Kaution sofort zurück gebucht wird. Dies ist bis heute nicht geschehen. Ich bin seit 3 Wochen wieder zu Hause, Mails werden nicht beantwortet.

Das Hotel war eine sehr gute Wahl, alles hat geklappt und die Zimmer sind sehr gepflegt, sehr gute Matratze und das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Einzig diese Unmengen Plastik beim einfach gehaltenen Frühstück, das für einen ersten Kaffee aber ok war. Der Müllberg abends vor dem Hotel macht halbwegs umweltfreundlich gesinnte Menschen fertig, aber Plastik ist vor Ort ja grundsätzlich ein Thema. Auf jeden Fall eine empfehlenswerte Unterkunft.

Die Lage ist sehr gut, Hudson und Times Square sind zu Fuß in kurzer Zeit erreichbar. Die Subway ist nur 5 Minuten entfernt. Personal äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit. Auch der Flughafentransfer zurück zum Airport konnte kostengünstiger und problemlos im Hotel gebucht werden. Frühstück war für amerikanische Verhältnisse sehr gut.

Es ist einfach unglaublich zu sehen, wie die Amerikaner mit unserer Umwelt umgehen. Es wird im Hotel massenhaft Plastikmüll produziert- aufgerechnet auf NY oder die USA- gar nicht mehr zeitgemäß und auch von Touristen nicht gewollt.

Es gibt wichtigere Kriterien als Wartezeit am Aufzug. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Queen Bett und noch genügend Platz um zwei große Koffer und Handgepäck ohne Probleme zu verstauen. Und wie lange halte ich mich darin auf? Zimmer sind renoviert. Neue Ausstattung, USB Anschlüsse, Riesiger TV. Fenster konnte man sogar leicht öffnen. Fensterbank als Ablage und ein doppelter Sitzhocker vorhanden. Wer dazu klein sagt war noch nie in einem kleinem Zimmer in N.Y. Das Bad ist auch neu. Lüftung funktioniert gut. Wasserdruck und Warmwasser im 24 Stock sind top. Auch zu den Stoßzeiten. Das sind Basic's für ein NY Zimmer. Klima lief einwandfrei. Sehr freundliches Personal. Jederzeit ansprechbar und hilfsbereit. Frühstück für USA sehr gut. Lage für Ausflüge perfekt. Egal ob nach Downtown oder uptown. 34 Penn Station hat direkt Verbindung von und zu Jamaika Station JFK mit der Linie E. Ca. 30 Min. dauert die Fahrt. Plus kurzem Fußweg bis zum Hotel. Wer natürlich meint um 8.30 Uhr der einzige am Aufzug bzw. beim Frühstück zu sein der wartet halt auch Mal. Fazit. Top Hotel.

Very well located Hotel to start sight seeing tour
Hotel is very well located and generally in a good shape. Bed's are very comfortable. All employees are very, very friendly, from front desk, to cleaning ladies. The only handycap of this Hotel are the elevators. During rush hours, it takes 10 - 15 minutes until you may reach a room in 20 + floor. Same going down to the lobby. Rest perfect.

Best part of this stay was the location and the staff - everyone was very friendly and attentive to our needs. Our room was smaller than anticipated due to sharing space with the elevator and our fridge did not work well. The breakfast was decent. Great location and walkable from a lot of sights and food. DO NOT recommend using the hotel's shuttle service for the airport -- you are better off using Uber or Lyft, even if it is more expensive. We had a terrible time with our shuttle - the driver was late, he did not drive well (made us sick to our stomachs and he also cut off an ambulance which was really inappropriate), it was very hot and AC did not work well, we were not informed that they would be stopping at other hotels, and I would have missed my flight due to issues with this shuttle if I did not have TSA precheck to get me through security. It was a really unnecessarily stressful experience.
