Das Personal war nicht besonders freundlich, der Pool nicht sauber. Am meisten habe ich mich aber über die versteckten Kosten, auch auf der Expedia-Seite geärgert. Es fallen pauschal, pro Tag 40 Dollar zzgl Steuern u.a. für die Nutzung des Pools an. Dies müsste meiner Ansicht nach deutlicher kommuniziert werden und mit dem Zimmerpreis ausgewiesen werden, da die Kosten unabhängig der Nutzung anfallen..

Shampoo is in a very small portion, asked for more and got another small package, but you would need 3 of those. Service at lunch was terrible, waiter did not know what was on the menu, we had to walk to the waiter to ask for more drinks or food. For the rest it was a nice stay , clean room and good sound isolation.

Es gab nur einen kleinen Kritikpunkt-Wein, Cocktail aus Plastikgläsern. Beim Sonnenlicht zum Frühstück sahen die Wassergläser wirklich stark verschmutzt und mitgenommen aus. Trotzdem hat es uns sehr gut gefallen. Den Wein hatten wir mit auf unser Zimmer genommen, wo es sehr schöne passende Gläser gab. Personal war sehr zuvorkommend. Alles schön sauber mit guter Ausstattung. Wir werden bei unserer nächsten Reise wieder dieses Hotel buchen.

uns hat nicht gefallen: löchrige Handtücher Haare an den Handtüchern, selbst nach Austausch durch Hausdame kaputter Stuhl am Schreibtisch Klospülung ging nicht, zweimal angerufen, eine Stunde Wartezeit bis Reparatur Safe anfangs nicht schließbar gewesen halbe Stunde Warten auf Bedienung in der leeren Bar Hotellobby Baustelle, Ersatzlobby nebenan Zimmertüren schließen zu laut, kein leiser Schließmechanismus dürftige Frühstücksauswahl, dreckige Plastikgläser Joint-Geruch ständig im ganzen Hotel

Ich habe das Hotel wegen des Rooftops und des Pools gebucht, leider wird jedoch der Pool und die Bar als Party-Location an New Yorker pseudo Yuppies verramscht. Lärm und Dreck statt Oase. Das Zimmer machte den Eindruck als gingen die Parties ab und an auch in den Zimmern ab und an weiter, Brandflecken und alles leicht angegriffen. Das Hotel war sichelich malsehr gut, die Zeiten sind jedoch vorbei. Die Lage ist OK, wenn man denn diese Lage mag - zu diesem Preis gibt es jedoch bessere Hotels in New York.

Hotel has seen better days
Hotel has seen better days in terms of interior design. The rooms are ok, especially the ones with french balconies. The lower category rooms are very small. The beds are great though, i slept fantastic! The pool area was super crowded and nobody cleaned away dirty dishes and napkins laying I would not stay again.

Vollkommen überzogene Preise.Für 4 kleine Tassen Kaffee,davon 2 von Ihnen nachgeschenkt 22 Dollar. Für ein Zimmer mit einem winzig kleinen Balkon 300 Dollar extra .Wollten fürs Zustellbett nochmal 55 Dollar extra obwohl unser Zimmer vorher 2 Kingsize Betten hatte, aber leider kein Balkon.Gab nur Kaffepadmaschine ohne Pads kosten 6 Dollar extra pro Stück.Bar war entweder.geschlossen oder geschlossene Gesellschaft. Wollten den 50. Geburtstag feiern mit kleiner Aufmerksamkeit 45 Dollar extra für 6 Cupcakes und etwas Obst.Fahrt zum Flughafen sollte 198 Dollar kosten angeblich wären die Taxis teurer wurde uns gesagt.Haben aber trotzdem draussen vor der Tür ein Taxi genommen .kostete nur 100 Dollar.Wir waren jetzt zum 5 Mal in NY in 4 verschiedenen Hotels davon war es mit Abstand das schlechteste.

The staffs are friendly and professional. However, for a hotel that charges $50 resort fee per night, we were surprised when told that there is no complimentary water available, which caused us much inconvenience as we arrived at the hotel at 11PM on a rainy night. (There is only $10 /bottle of water in the minibar.) While the room is clean, there is absolutely zero soundproofing, so even though we stayed on the 12th floor, the sound of traffic on the street and doors closing in the hallway were as clear as if cars, people, and various machinery are literally within our room.

we went for the pool. the pool was closed when we arrived at 4:00 and was only open in the mornings. that did not work out for our schedule and was totally closed the last day we could have used it. I upgraded room to what I thought was balcony and was not...what they consider balcony is not a balcony.

The Royalton Park Avenue is our go to hotel in NYC. This past week, we splurged a bit and spent two nights in a Park Avenue Suite. Spacious, comfortable and well priced. There was a wedding going on and so the hotel was a quite busy. The result is that Room Service was so tied up that they basically just never called us back when we tried to order brunch, so we had to do take out from Sarabeths instead. That has never happened to us before at the Royalton. I am giving it five stars anyway because we had such a pleasant stay other than that.

I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel. I love the texts I received daily from the staff asking me how my stay was going and if I needed anything. They were very responsive when I needed something. They also upgraded me from a queen bed to a king bed when they found out my sister was staying with me. They gave me a room with a view of the Empire State Building. It’s across the street from a Starbucks and in close proximity to Whole Foods, nice restaurants and shopping. I loved my stay at the Royalton Park Hotel.
