Host changed my booking at 2 am the day I was flying out. Host was polite and informative but did not inform me I could just contact vrbo to find me a new booking instead of having to accept what she was offering. This was clearly intentional so I would not be fairly compensated for the difference between what i paid for, a private space with a kitchen near where i needed to be for work and what I was given, a tiny dingy room in a shared space with nothing but a microwave and mini fridge. I was told I would be compensated the price difference between the two properties. I was given a measly 40 as compensation when that was less than the NIGHTLY difference in price between the two rooms. I feel this host intentionally withheld information in order to get away with not compensating me fairly for circumstances that were not my fault at all. Would not book with this host again.
