Sehr nah am Times Square. In der Nähe Metro, Bus und genügend Essmöglichkeiten. Mitarbeiter super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Zimmer klein und einfach, aber sauber, wird jeden Tag gereinigt. Guter Gratiskaffee. Was will man mehr für einen Kurztrip nach New York? Ich würde es wieder buchen.

Ideale Lage. W-Lan sehr schlecht, Verbindung konnte kaum erstellt noch gehalten werden! Der nicht sanierte Teil des Hotels befindet sich in einem miserablen Zustand - wir waren zum Glück im neueren Teil, der in Bezug auf Funktionalität einem Citytrip gerecht wird.

Super Hotel in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Times Square und den großen Theatern der Stadt. Freundliches Personal, saubere Zimmer, Größe, Ausstattung und Zustand für New Yorker Verhältnisse absolut super. Man darf keine Wunder erwarten, bekommt aber was man gebucht hat - ein sauberes Bett zum schlafen und ein ebenso sauberes Badezimmer mit ausreichend Platz für eine Person (Einzelzimmer). Alles andere findet man direkt vor der Tür. Trotz der Lage war das Zimmer und die Umgebung ruhig und angenehm und somit auch für Gäste geeignet, die den Stadtlärm Nachts nicht so gerne mögen. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder.

Die Lage des Hotels ist perfekt und die Zimmer haben alles was man benötigt! Leider ist unser Zimmer extrem klein gewesen und es hat durch die Fenster gezogen, was im Winter ungünstig ist. Trotz allem kann ich das Hotel aufgrund der Lage und Sauberkeit sehr (!) weiterempfehlen!

Möbel sind sehr heruntergekommen, insbesondere der Teppichboden. Dieser ist schon sehr alt und lässt den Raum durchgehend unangenehm riechen. Es gibt einen Kleiderschrank, man kann seine Klamotten allerdings nicht aufhängen, aufgrund des stickigen Raumgeruchs. Die Betten sind sehr bequem. Pro: unmittelbare Nähe zum Times Square und Central Park Es gibt kostenlosen Kaffee bis 10 Uhr Das Personal ist sehr hilfsbereit!

Dixie Unterkunft liegt in der 51.Strasse West zwischen 8. und 9. Av und ist daher sehr zentral gelegen ! Frühstückslokale , kleine Supermärkte sind in der Nähe! Es war in der Nacht sehr ruhig. Die Matratze war gut !Das Zimmer war sehr klein! Das Rollo des Fensters zum Hof klemmte , es war schwierig es zu schließen und sonitcfiel Licht der anderen Zimmer in unseren Raum hinein! Das Hotel müsste mal renoviert werden ! Kaffee gab es morgens in der Lobby, aber nur zu unterschiedlichen Zeiten ! George von der Rezeption war sehr freundlich

Gute Lage, schlechtes Hotel
Zimmer sind veraltet, die Sauberkeit des Hotels ließ zu wünschen übrig. Zimmerservice schon sehr früh sehr laut auf den Gängen, da die Zimmer sehr hellhörig sind ist dies sehr unangenehm. Positiv ist definitiv die Lage des Hotels, ansonsten würde ich dieses Hotel nicht weiterempfehlen.

Hotel liegt sehr zentral in der Nähe vom Times Square, Central Park, Broadway Theater. Preis-Leistung ist ok, die Zimmer sind aber sehr klein und hellhörig. Klimaanlage funktioniert gut. Duschgel, Haarshampoo,... vorhanden, werden auch nachgefüllt. Am Morgen gibt es gratis Kaffee. Ausgezeichnete Restaurants in der Nähe.

Excellent location, everything was in walking distance and very friendly and helpful staff. We had a renovated room and it was bigger and more modern than we expected as the reviews we read before complained about the size of the rooms. Our bed was very comfortable and it was cleaned very well everyday. The only thing that we disliked were the windows because even when they were closed it was always very cold especially at night.

Did not get to stay, it seemed that Orbitz sent the reservation cancelation to my email less then 24hours of my arrival so after I got there I was informed that the hotel had been taken over by the city, but they did give me 2 hotel options to stay at and they took care of everything this is the second time this has happened, the last time it was a Hotel in Tampa

We didn’t stay at this hotel. Flew into the city late at night only to be told “the government is taking over the hotel we have transferred you to a new hotel you can’t stay here” 45 MINUTES AWAY from the current area no email notification before hand or a call during the daytime hours. While seeing other hotel guest enter and exit the building who were clearly staying in the hotel. Hotel staff did not even know how far the “new” hotel was I had to look it up myself. We were offered up to a $50 cab ride to the new hotel and 2 breakfast vouchers… what a laughable compensation. Hotel staff were not knowledgeable and not helpful. We got a refund and found a better hotel. I wouldn’t waste your time at this place. Stay somewhere else! Also, this hotel staff lied to our travel agency saying we took the transfer hotel when we did not. So for a lack of a better term “scammed” us as we wouldn’t been changed for this stay when we did not stay at this hotel. Therefore, had to fight for our refund from this unworthy hotel. Don’t waste your time and money on this place.

Reservation moved to another hotel
Upon arrival I was told I was being moved to a different (sister) hotel because the city had taken this hotel over. I don't like not having a choice of where I stay. AND, this put me behind on my schedule causing me to miss out on an event I had planned and paid for. A notification BEFORE arriving would have been better. Waste of my time.

Unfortunately, they had to move us to their sister hotel, The Edison, because the City of New York took over the hotel. The staff made the shift as painless as possible - but we would have preferred to stay at the WJ.

They claimed the city “took over” the hotel in a sad attempt to deflect blame. They tried moving me to a hotel up on 77th St when I chose the WJ for its location. Apologies and $10 for cab fare do NOT make up for a lack of communication and horrible inconveniences for the remainder of my visit to the city. Being in a sudden position of having no option I had to agree to a hotel on 44th but three avenues over in the middle of Times Square and the tourist crowds. Any hotel with a genuine concern about service would have owned their decision, contacted reservation holders prior to check-in, and offered the opportunity to cancel, enabling those who chose to find other accommodations. The front desk staff was forced to deal with a lot of disgruntled and angry guests while the people who made this decision sat back and had an obvious lack of empathy while perpetrating this fraud. I suggest avoiding any Triumph Hotel going forward since guest services are placed well below corporate profit.

The hotel is close to broadway, times square and central park. It was surrounded by a ton of places to get different foods as well. Our room was a little small, but we were barely there and it didn't bother us. We had a hair dryer, but the room did not come with a microwave or refrigerator. The front staff was incredibly nice ESPECIALLY the woman who checks us in originally. We would stay here again in the future.
