« House was clean and very good communication with owners. I put 4 stars only because there was only one television which some families might not mind but was t a deal breaker we bought one and made it work. Also only window unit which is not shown in the photos so it was really cold in the front of the home vs. bedrooms but again not a deal breaker. Beautiful nature outside rabbits woodchuck birds raccoon & skunk!!! very convenient location close to grocery not far from restaurants, etc. »

« Where do I begin--- 1) upon checking in Friday a maintenance guy was parked in the driveway so I had to contact the owner where to park since the property is on a very narrow road and there is no available street parking, 2) maintenance guy was on the property for almost 2 hours to get heat and hot water working, 3) I was instructed to turn up the heat to heat up the water (that didn't work, couldn't take comfortable warm showers at bedtime after a long travel day), 3) left early in the morning...

« Best stay ever! Parking lot was easy; apartment was clean and felt like home. Bed comfortable. Would booked this apartment next trip. My only recommendation that was the kitchen did not have a toaster. »

« I loved this little place…everything that was needed for 1-2 people. The host even put out little emergency supplies if you forgot your toothbrush, for example. It was walking distance to everything downtown but the restaurant directly across the street was so good I ate there twice. I would love to stay here again sometime. »

« Our stay came after an 18" snowfall and near 0F cold in historic Collinsville, so we were concerned about our late arrival, parking, safe walkways and a warm home. What we found were shovelled and treated walkways, a freshly plowed parking space, lights and heat on and a lovely home on the banks of the frozen Farmington River. « We do not drop poor reviews lightly. We rented a two unit house for 5 nights for 3,000. Out confirmation said we would have the place to ourselves. Instead, we had noisy construction crews on site, without any warning. When we complained and specifically asked that no one be on site for the remainder of our stay, the host agreed. That is not what happened. The crews showed up daily, sawing through brick and mortar in what appeared to be an addition. This all happened right outside our door,...
