Tolle Lage, guter Service
Wir hatten ein Dreibettzimmer unter dem Dach. Das Zimmer machte einen guten Eindruck, die Dusche war klasse. Insgesamt hatten wir etwas Schwierigkeiten, das Gepäck für 3 Personen unterzubringen, so dass es recht eng war. Für ein paar Tage aber in Ordnung. Einziges Manko war, dass WLAN auf dem Zimmer so gut wie gar nicht funktionierte. Auf dem Flur ging es einwandfrei. Wir hatten das Glück, jeden Tag einen Parkplatz in der Straße zu ergattern. Ansonsten hätte man auf öffentliche Parkplätze weiter weg ausweichen müssen. Das Frühstück war gut und wurde sehr liebevoll am Tisch serviert. Wir würden diese Unterkunft wieder buchen.

Die Perle Corwalls..ein Traum...Wohlfühlen.
Es war ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt. Wir hatten Zimmer 3 mit Meerblick. Super Betten ...großes Zimmer ... Bad perfekt. STRAND in einer Minute. Warmherzige Eigentümer. Frühstück reichlich und gut. Kann man nur empfehlen. Wir kommen wieder!

A stroke of luck - Ein Glücksgriff
The sweetest and friendliest hosts one can ask for. The room and house are newly renovated. The location is perfect even if you are not driving. A glass of wine and a chat at their bar in the evening is recommended. Plenty of good dining, beaches and hiking in the immediate area. Could not have asked for more and we will be back! Thank you

New year's eve stay
Margaret and Owen were very friendly hosts, and made you feel welcomed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The seaview room had an amazing view, would highly recommend. The hotel is in a great location for the town and short walks to several beaches.

We had a lovely stay. Perfect location with easy parking options. Room was very clean and comfortable. Very spacious guest house with entertainment and bar. The breakfast was delicious and the staff were super friendly. Felt right at home. Will definitely be returning.

The view was good. The breakfast was set to room numbers 1-9 ate earlier than the other rooms. which meant if you were in room 10 or above you could end up having breakfast as late as 9.15 till 10, half the morning has gone by then, you could not change it, so if you wanted an early start you would have to miss breakfast even though you have paid for it. It seemed that the breakfast was served more for the convenience of the hotel rather than the customer. Parking could be difficult even though the hotel does advertise it, you are not guaranteed to get anywhere we didn't find that out until the day before we travelled.

Excellent property and owners, took care of me after I was injured in a car accident and made sure I was safe and cleaned up. Great breakfast in the morning and pleasant bar service at night. Quiet and off the main street of Newquay but within walking distance of all major shops and known by taxi services.

Amazing break
This was our second visit to the Minerva Guesthouse and just like the first visit it was excellent and I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending it. The only slight negative is that this visit we had room 6 which felt rather cramped. Overall a fabulous break and the guesthouse is perfectly located.

Such a lovely hotel! Great location right in the middle of the town so easy to walk to local beaches, shops and restaurants. The room was 5*, beautiful views, clean and all the amenties that are needed, even with a mini fridge! Breakfast was well organised and delicious with more options that I've seen at most places including waffles. Staff were excpetionally friendly and helpful. The ability to be able to leave our luggage there after checking out so we could potentially catch a later train was very useful, although we ended up not using it, the staff were more than happy to look after it. Would definitely stay here again!

We had 4 night stay as a small family. Hotel is ideal location for the beach and the centre of Newquay. The limited parking is the only downside but actually the car parks a short walk away so dont allow this to put you off. Our room was very nice and clean with a nice ensuite and tea&coffee facilities. Breakfast has a good choice and the staff are really friendly and attentive. Breakfast was also consistently good. When visiting Newquay we would definitely return to this Hotel.

Had a very nice, comfortable, and relaxing stay. The room was very clean, well equipped, and comfortable with a nice view. Everyone was friendly and polite, breakfast was good. Thanks to the ladies that looked after us every morning for breakfast. Can’t fault the place, would highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

Absolutely love this place staff are lovelly very helpful. 3rd stay here and will be rebooking for next year. The hotel is perfectly place for beach holiday or if you like a walk.

Idealic stay for any occasion.
I cannot fault the hotel at all, from the second we walked in we had a warm welcome and given all the details we needed. I would 100% recommend having a sea view room. A bay window and cup of tea looking out over the sea is perfect! Ideal location too, seconds from anywhere you want to go. I will definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone needing a hotel in Newquay.

Stayed here overnight due to a works outing. Warm welcome from the staff who quickly gave me all the information I needed. Room was clean and comfortable, bathroom was spotless. Great location near to the centre of town but off the thoroughfare, so it was quiet. Would stay again

Just perfect
Like most of you I did wonder whether the reviews and rating were real as they were almost too good to be true but trust me, this place is fabulous. From its amazing location, right by the sea and within a 30 second walk of the town to its cleanliness and decor and not to mention the price, you will not be disappointed and my partner and I will definitely be staying there again next year. We managed to bag one of the parking spaces outside the hotel which was great but there are free parking spaces on the roadside. The room was spacious and clean and modern and the bathroom was the same. We stayed in room 14 at the rear of the hotel. You get a cooked breakfast included in the price which was a fab surprise and overall the price is just amazing. If you choose to stay here I promise you’ll love it.
