« Beautiful resort away from the noisy theatre district yet close enough for accessibility. Well equipped kitchen and great amenities. We had an issue with a noisy air conditioning unit above our room. The front desk staff were able to find us another room. This was not an easy task as the hotel was very busy due to Veterans Day. Greatly appreciated their effort to find a solution. »

« The beds were very comfortable. A lot of outside areas to sit and relax. The pool area was very nice also. Someone was always cleaning and sweeping. A bonfire at night. It was very quiet. Very pleased with the accommodations. »
« Beautifully restored facility. I loved being able to stay in this historic building and learning about its role in the UofA’s past. I think every alumni should visit if not stay there.
My only knock was the desk clerk’s condescending comment when we checked in about “How everybody knows about the hotel brunch/bar/restaurants” when I asked about the difference between them and making reservations. Otherwise I would recommend a stay there especially during the off season when the rates are much...
